I am very pleased with the service, the owner called me before dispatching my order to Norway.
As my partner works for a sushi restaurant in Norway and his birthday is coming up, what more better gift to give than a knive made by KATABA and he was very pleased! He used the knive the day it arrived. Custom charges were reasonable!

I would give my experience 6 stars if it was possible! For starters, I have been looking for MONTHS for the perfect 180mm carbon gyuto. I thought “hey let’s check out the staff favorites page”. Your staff knows good knives. I found the knife I had been picturing in my head and immediately put it in my cart. And then I hesitated.. I thought “wow this is coming from the UK, it could be a month or more before I get this”.. I pulled the trigger. I really wanted this knife and was prepared to wait. Maybe 5 minutes after finalizing the purchase I was greeted with an email thanking me for my purchase but also informing me that there might be some sort of import duty or import tax, and they gave me the option to cancel my order. I hesitated once again.. not knowing how much more I was going to spend while I’m already on a budget. I ultimately decided I was ok with spending what extra tax there might be and possibly waiting a long time for international shipping. Let me tell you something. THE KNIFE SHOWED UP IN 4 DAYS AND THERE WASN’T EVEN AN IMPORT DUTY!!! Great customer service, great products, HIGHLY recommended. I will be a returning customer for sure. Thank you.

Really excellent service. Knives arrived promptly the next day and were very well packaged. Came in a neat decorative looking box packed in a larger ordinary box. KATABA provided an excellent service. After filling out their form and sending in my santoku for sharpening, they promptly emailed confirmation that it had arrived. It was sharpened expertly and sent back to me in a short time frame, for a very fair price. I would definitely recommend them. Thank you for the great work!

Stunning service
Stunning service! I had damaged one of my Damascus Knives and sent it in to be repaired and re-sharpened. Was delighted with the job they did. Returned to me in less than 3 weeks and the knife looks brand new, all for an incredibly good price. Have already sent in another knife to be re sharpened. Absolutely wonderful!
