Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit der Platform, habe über 30 Bücher publiziert und verdiene mein Geld mit meinen Werken. Die Platform ist sehr einfach zu bedienen und die Abrechnungen werden immer pünktlich ausbezahlt. Ich kann mich nicht beschweren und verstehe diese negativen Bewertungen überhaupt nicht. Another 'out of the blue' terminated account
I'll keep it brief cos its much the same as everyone elses reviews. First published with them 3 years ago, published 10 books in total. In each case they took my money while i ordered proof after proof. Wen it was time to publish, they took the 3 days or so to review it all before sending me the congratulations email, your book has been published. They took more of my money when i ran amazon ads campaigns and now 3 years later, i get an email out of the blue to say my account has been terminated, all my books removed, and i would not be receiving any royalties that they owed me, for reasons of copyright violation on the front cover of one of my books, this is the front cover that they reviewed and published. They wont give any details, and no opportunity for me to put right whatever i've unknowingly done wrong. The least helpful company i've ever experienced.

An excellent tool
I have now published 20 books on Amazon, my first experience with KDP was quite easy and it has only got better as I have published more books. The whole process is intuitive and easy to follow.
What a nightmare!!
What a nightmare!!! I've had a book listed with KDP for over ! year and have Not released it yet because of their mistakes. They put my dedication page right in the middle of my TOC!! They obviously DON'T proofread! Now, I've spent the last 25 minutes trying to get into my account and all I get is KDP trying to sell and sign me up with new apps!!! I've counted 11 so far including 1.easy home screen 2.Nth degree 3.blaze gym 4.Pdf file plus 5. what'sapp 6. recurly 7.all doc reader 8. Alcon game 9.etc I'm cancelling KDP!

I would like to give 0 stars. Like many others I tried self publishing on amazon kdp to see if I could. I didn't know how people were treated. I know now. Self publishing on amazon kdp is in my experience like herding feral cats in a dark maze with tripwires everywhere. Blindfolded. The experience was soul crushing. I left. Never again!

E' porosa, antigraffio, antiscivolo, sembra la copertina di un manuale di studio. La copertina dei libri deve essere liscia, come quelli delle librerie, ma scherziamo? I ordered a phone case and went to frequently bought together and seen a screen protector with the case. A button says add both to cart. So i did, but the screen protector was not for that phone at all. I didnt find out until I put it on my phone so now I cant return it or get a refund.
ABSURD BUSINESS PRACTICE CLOSES MY KPD AUTHOR'S ACCOUNT AND MY PERSONAL AMAZON ACCOUNT
I attempted to use my personal Amazon account today.
After responding to the authentication information sent to my phone and email, I was instructed to call Amazon's Customer Service. No problem!
I was asked to provide purchase order numbers issued within the past 12 months. I explained to Amazon's CSR that I have not made a purchase since 2024.
Since I was not able to provide the representative with a purchase order number within the past 12 months, he began the process of closing my personal Amazon account.
The rep also informed me that because my Amazon account was being terminated, my KDP author account would be closed and that the books recently uploaded would be rejected.
WTH?
A simple resolution would have been for me to have the opportunity to upload my Real-ID that matches ALL the information previously provided for both accounts.
Amazon hates self publishers
Several years ago I chose Amazon as the company I would self publish with. I really regret it now. First the book was " accidentally" given away free to quite a few people, then somehow their system changed it from adult dating to a teenage category. A nasty review was made. I asked for these things to be corrected . They still have not. Then when they finally paid me it took two months. Then last November I get an email to check my banking details to receive a royalty deposit. It was correct but their system wouldn't let me confirm it . I asked for help. All you get is Asian names who fob you off. It is now March and now I'm being told I don't meet their wire threshold after one staff member promised me it was finally going in on the 28th of February. Do not recommend
They have had my novel for 6 weeks and…
They have had my novel for 6 weeks and I still don't have a copy. I paid $1,000. I have had 3 different agents reply, 2 gave the same reason for not replying sooner: "I have not been well." That's a poor excuse or just an outright lie. This is a terrible service. I do not recommend KDP. Go elsewhere.

There is no where to see what the error is. I then was told "specialist would look into the propblem and get back to me within three days." No one every contacted me. I was told that would be by email. That has happened twice in the past year. My final submission is deadlocked!!!!!

Instead of fixing documented bugs (like the Log ID [40xpZr...]), the "prestigious" Seattle lawyers, including the partners who rave about "free speech" on podcasts, prefer to use amateur tricks. They've configured their Mimecast servers to manually reject technical emails (Status: Message Rejected) that expose the failures of the KDP system.
The paradox? Jeff Bezos pays these legal "gurus" handsomely to shield a broken algorithm. They use expensive filters and digital barriers to silence authors who bring evidence, turning compliance into a farce.
While their bosses, like Dan Scharf and Ajay Patel, talk about AI and the future at SXSW, in their offices, the "manual veto" is still used to hide the fact that the emperor is naked. If you're an author, know that you're not talking to a company, but to a brick wall paid to ignore you.
Technical advice for DWT: Stop playing with Mimecast blacklists and start acting like a lawyer. Logs don't lie, even if you try to delete emails.

J'édite un roman illustré en 9 tomes. Donc 9 livres (tous identiques en caractéristiques sauf le nombre de pages bien sûr).
Tous les prix sont cohérents entre eux sauf le Tome 8 facturé plus de 31 % de plus que le tome 7 POUR 3 PAGES + !
Des semaines et des dizaines d'échanges par mails avec le service client QUI FAIT SEMBLANT DE NE PAS COMPRENDRE, QUI NE REGARDE ABSOLUMENT PAS LES CAPTURES D'ÉCRAN ENVOYÉES À CHAQUE MAIL.... UNE CATASTROPHE JE N'AI JAMAIS VU UN MANQUE D'HONNÊTETÉ À CE POINT. Même lorsqu'on fait remonter la réclamation aux supérieurs IL NE COMPRENNE PAS DAVANTAGE et ne consultent pas non plus les captures.
(De plus il faut en sorte de changer d'interlocuteur et surtout renouveler régulièrement le mail de réponse afin que les échanges disparaissent sauf que moi j'ai tout gardé en capture d'écran.)
Il vous réexplique sans cesse le mode de calcul des coûts du livre en vous soutenant que le tarif est normal SUR LEUR ÉCRAN :
Tome 7 : 55 pages €3.64
Tome 8 : 58 pages €3.80
Tome 9 : 62 pages €4.01
Sauf QUE SUR MON ÉCRAN LE TOME 8 est FACTURÉ 4,77 € DE FAÇON TOTALEMENT ARBITRAIRE !!
(Je vois déjà d'ici leur réponse mielleuse en indiquant de consulter leur support pour résoudre le problème sauf que je l'ai déjà fait des dizaines de fois)
Donc je vais chercher une autre plateforme.

Es una basura. Cada vez imprimen peor, te llegan los libros mal montados, con las cajas rotas y destrozadas porque son de cartón malo. Te dan mil problemas en la revisión de los archivos porque está todo automatizado, y cuando pides ayuda la atención al cliente es completamente autorizada. Y todo mientras ellos se llevan más del 50% de beneficios mientras tú no te llevas casi nada.

These guys are crooks, stole all my royalties. No chance to appeal or anything. But I’m locked out of my first with 8nbooks on it for 15 years they are keeping that money also

Ho pubblicato un libro su Amazon KDP nel 2024, tutto bene fino ad oggi, febbraio 2026. Poi dal sito ho scoperto di essere stato sospeso e la vendita è stata rimossa perfino da Amazon. La sfortuna è che non posso nemmeno fare una nuova registrazione: non riattivano l'account. Tutto questo è stato causato da una loro email che non ho letto e a cui non ho risposto in tempo. Ho provato a scrivere più volte ma senza risultato. Se potessi darei meno di zero stelle: pessimo servizio e assistenza clienti inesistente.
Zero customer service
I have an Amazon account and also had a KDP account: you are required to use one email for both--no problem.
Then my husband--who has a separate Amazon account--wrote a book and opened his own KDP account with an email matching his Amazon Account.
But then KDP kept sending his book information to me, so he asked them to please note the change and send it to his own email. They did start sending his information to his email, but then they "terminated" my account because I had "broken the agreement" in some way--although in fact I had done nothing at all. Multiple calls to Amazon followed--hours of frustration--and Amazon is hands off when it comes to KDP. At KDP all you get is bot support--and if you don't have an account with them they just boot you when you try to speak with them. Truly a horror story of customer service which is nonexistent.
