Defective and Overpriced
These capsules are ridiculously overpriced and crack/leak. I bought the first generation capsules in 2021, and in less than a year, they started to crack on their own. I was able to get a replacement sent, along with a complimentary capsule for the inconvenience. A few years later, the replacement capsules started to crack. I emailed customer service for a replacement, and I was advised that the first generation capsules were retired. The second generation capsules include .56 capsules (the same as the first gen), but the shape has been changed to be wider with a low shaft. There’s also now a medium sized capsule and an extender to modify capsules into a large. I absolutely hate the new capsules for the .56 size, and the second gen capsules are more expensive.
When I tried to replace the second batch that cracked, instead of just sending me the replacement like before, Cadence sent a digital gift card for me to purchase a new set online. The problem with this is instead of replacing my 5 defective capsules, I had to purchase a new set at a higher price point, which meant my gift card did not have enough to replace 5 capsules, I could only replace 4, and that was only because of a Labor Day sale taking place that had a more reduced price point. In addition, I had to pay a sales tax, which doesn’t make sense because I already paid taxes with my initial order. Why am I responsible for tax to replace defective items?! I went back and forth with customer service about this, and they agreed to send me an additional small capsule free of charge. Not only did my replacement take almost 2 weeks to get processed, but the additional capsule that was promised wasn’t included with my package. I’ve been trying to email with the person that processed the exchange, but I have not received a response.
Do not buy from Cadence, they sell a defective product that they know is going to crack, hence why there is a lifetime warranty. They agreed to send me an additional capsule, reneged that offer, and I had to argue with them to uphold their original agreement, only for them not to send it. They are liars and greedy. Don’t waste your money, go find dupes. I hate this company so much now. There’s no customer service number or corporate number, so you have no choice but communicate via email. Responses can take 1-4 business days. For the amount these capsules cost, I expect to speak with a live person should an issue arise.
I spoke with Nate, the original customer rep that agreed to send a free additional capsule, and May, who I’m assuming is a supervisor (and the person trying to renege Nate’s offer). I contacted customer service on 5/19….why has this ordeal taken almost a month?!
The capsules leak!
The capsules leak!! Customer service has sent replacement capsules free of charge, they all leak (shampoo). They are also heavy. They are not worth the money.

Won’t last you over 6 trips
I’ve purchased 3 different sets of capsules and just as I’m getting ready to pack for my trip I notice one of them is completely broken. I looked into the rest and there’s many other that are cracked . Cadence has been so useful for travel and I love that the containers are reusable and eco friendly with recycled plastic! I was kind of on the fence at first, but after trying them I'm giving them to my mom and friends for Christmas!

medium parcel is a YES
I purchased the medium parcel (TSA approved one) and I LOVE it! I’ve been using it as my everyday bag I add to my bigger purse. It holds my charger, wallet, lip gloss, chapstick , pens etc. I got the chocolate color which is gorgeous. The parcel is super sturdy. I had the sharpest pencil in it and it didn’t tear the bag. I am sold on this product!!
The Capsules are game changing!
I've had the Capsules for about a year now and as someone that travels every month, they have been absolutely game changing for me. I have a strict skincare routine and I used to get terrible breakouts when travelling because I could never fit all my steps in my suitcase but the Capsules have totally solved this! I also recently started using them to organize my morning and night supplements and I am finally staying on track.
Cadence has SAVED ME as a mom
I’m a mom of two, and Cadence has seriously made staying organized sooooo much easier. Snack crumbs at the bottom of my bag? Not anymore thanks to the Parcel. And my foundation leaking everywhere? The Capsules fixed that.
I actually enjoy packing my diaper bag now. I color-code everything by kid (and for me), and it makes getting out the door way less chaotic. I also keep an XL Parcel of kid essentials in the car, plus individual Capsules for each girl in my diaper bag that goes with me everywhere.
I can’t tell you how many times having everything organized and with me has saved us from a meltdown or accident (IYKYK). If you’re a mom, these are GAME CHANGING.

The parcels have been a game changer, I use different size parcels from ones I carry in my purse every day, to ones for my gym bag and then those for larger trips that go into my suitcase. Also when possible now, I often fly without checking a bag as I can bring everything I need in my TSA approved capsules and quart sized clear bag. I love this brand and customer service has been exceptional when helping me troubleshoot some issues.
Nothing but good things to say

I purchased over 400 products from the ham company in early 2024 to prepare for a trip to Asia. Long story short I had a double up Ziploc’s midway through my trip to prevent a massive situation in my toiletry bag. When I came back from the trip and tried to reach out the first red flag was there there’s no customer service number. When I emailed the same person who is seen on this thread from the company - Jade - is the person I emailed and also just like others reported while professing to take any issues “extremely seriously” what a joke proceeded to ghost me midway through our discussion on how to resolve the issue. This is a horrible unreliable product. It weighs a lot. The capsules are very difficult to open once the fragile threads get damaged through regular use. I have no problem opening any containers and these are ridiculous. You should be ashamed of yourself selling a ridiculously expensive product that can be bested 10 times over by travel containers that purchased at your local grocery store in the travel section. Enjoy your sales now of your cute but completely unreliable, I hope you feel good about ripping people off. Enjoy your bankruptcy.
Worst customer service & not worth it
Don't even buy into this company. I purchased capsules system. I found them through ads on social media thinking it is a great concept for my skincare routine. So I spend $1xx something on something I didn't use as they were cute but for my essences, toners I was just using too many product. Finally recently they made these adapters which is supposedly suppose to be made for that. Just I purchased a few adapters and one capsule to give it a try again and in hopes to use it on my vacation. The package came with one of the adapters missing. I reached out to Cadence once I opened the package and noticed there was a missing adapter I contacted their customer service and their automatic system stated it will take them 2-4 business days to respond. At first I got a respond right away by Jade who said she will have the missing adapter sent right away and that she will include a complimentary small capsule [in a happy go lucky tone]. You would think you are in good hands, so I agree to it and after I responded there was no update on my missing adapter I emailed back asking for the status because I needed the adapter for the up coming trip. From June 10th which was Cadence's respond I had to keep following up with since I was going on vacation around that time frame. I ended up not using anything from their order. Until I'm back on 6/18 I still didn't get any update from them from my multiple emails. I ended up decided to return their items back to them and not support this type of company. Submitting the return, the first thing Cadence would advise you is that the Cadence team will reach out to you. I waited until 6/24 to contact the company again because at this point I'm just totally done with their customer service and I want to return them their product which was never used for what it was intended for. Finally May responded back to ask what why I am returning my order. I attached my conversation with Jade and advised my extreme frustration with their company. Jade responded back to my email on 6/29 in happy go lucky tone, completely ignoring what I was stating I want to return my order and the frustration they've put me through. Wasting my time and energy. I'm already back vacation and didn't use their items as intended because of the missing adapter. She just directly send me the replacement after 3 weeks like nothing happened. At that point I completely flip out on her. On 7/7/2025 I advise her why did Cadence sent me the missing adapter when I wanted to return my order which was submitted to them on 6/18. Finally I'm totally fed up with them, they're not providing me the return label and not initialing my return. I contact my bank to dispute with them on 7/7 and finally a respond from them :

Like seriously it took my bank to step in for them to finally respond ? Well think twice if you would want to purchase from a company like this. It's massive advertised on social media but you're paying so much money for plastic that looks nice but does not have customer service. You can't even say high volume. It took over one and a half month and my problem is still not resolved.
Overpriced and broken after one use
Built my own set back in January for $250. Used them once. Was packing for a trip this week, and noticed that two of my caps no longer screw back on. Like somebody else pointed out, the latch is no longer catch, and they are basically useless.
I have reached out to customer service, but at this point, I don't know what they can do for me (and based on other reviews here, they might not even get back to me). But I wanted other users to know that this overpriced travel system is not worth the money.
Don't fall into the trap like some of us did.
