Discrimination of color
I do not recommend working for a company by the name of Zt Systems or Kelly Services. Both are in the state of Texas and the city of Georgetown. I was hired by the third party company Kelly services on Sept 8th 2025. During my time there I was picked on, targeted and discriminated against from my first day up until the very last day of my termination. September 10, I was approached by Carmen Rivera a Kelly Services supervisor regarding my attire, specifically my pants, which she deemed resembled pajamas and were no longer acceptable in the
workplace. I acknowledged her concern and she proceeded to walk away. The following day, September 11, I received an email from Carmen regarding my nail hygiene, stating that my fingernails were too long. Upon inquiring with other employees, I discovered that several young women with similarly long nails had not received the same email. On September 16, Carmen stopped me again, this time objecting to my shorts, claiming it was too short. I demonstrated that the shorts were not
short, but rather tended to ride up when I sat down. Carmen insisted that I could no longer wear the shorts, citing that it was 'self-rising.' I acquiesced and walked away. The next day, September 17, Carmen approached me once more, stating that I could no longer wear the pants I had on unless my shirt covered my bottom. I began to feel targeted by Carmen, particularly in light of the fact that on September 11, a young woman who wasn’t black with 4-5 inch nails had not received the same email as me. Furthermore, on September 10, a young woman in my station who was also not black was actually wearing pajama pants, but was not approached by Carmen. Similarly, on September 16, another young woman who is not black was wearing shorts that came up to her thighs, and on September 17, several young women who are not black were wearing non-regulation leggings and cropped tops. I confided in a friend, expressing my feelings of being targeted by Carmen, and was advised to speak with a lead. The lead suggested that I disregard Carmen's behavior, but I insisted that the situation was not fair and that I needed to address it. Zt Ststems has a strict policy of ( See something, Say something) so I decided to speak with Carmen directly, despite being warned by a colleague by the name Daisy, that doing so could result in my termination. During our conversation, Carmen denied targeting me, claiming that she had also privately informed others about various policy rules. However, when I mentioned that I had discussed my concerns with others, Carmen became angry and warned me that further discussion would be considered gossip and could result in my termination. As I walked away, Carmen muttered something under her breath, which sounded like the Spanish word 'Negra,' equivalent to the English racial slur. Following our conversation, I approached Carmen again during lunch break, but she refused to speak with me, instead having another employee intervene and claim that Carmen was unavailable. Unbeknownst to me, Carmen had already sent out a termination letter, which I did not receive due to my phone being dead. I was subsequently fired by Carmen Rivera on September 24, 2025 for the following gossip policy. Interestingly, two other young women, were also fired by Carmen Rivera on September 23, allegedly for the same reasons as my termination. I reached out to Kelly services regarding this wrongful termination on sept 25 2025. In hopes that something may be done. Unfortunately I never heard from anyone. When I tried to reach out to Zt Systems as well regarding the situation on the same day sept 25 2025, Zt Systems refused to hear my side of the situation and completely shut me out. There policy (See something, Say something) is a waist of representation of the company being that I SEEN how I was being treated and chose to SAY something and was terminated for doing so. They do not stand by their policy!
