Kirkleesphotographic Reviews

The most professional and personal film processing experience I have ever had. They’re always there to help with any questions you might have and the wealth of knowledge and experience shows because the scans are always fantastic. You don’t find many labs with service and pricing as consistent as this. People should understand that they process film that you have control of in its quality, the exposure of the film and the way it’s handled until it’s received. The previous review is clearly from somebody disgruntled and places don’t get the feedback they truly deserve when it’s earned only shot down when it’s believed not to have been. A lab for life.

The most unprofessional experience I've ever had with any lab. I had two rolls of gold 200 dev + scanned with them, one roll was entirely misaligned in the slide, meaning I had to crop even further into these pitifully soft scans (I paid for their max size scans, listed as 6770 x 4490, I suspect their equipment is either faulty or old). Both rolls had emulsion damage and water spots just like the previous roll. Upon contacting them, their response initially was to offer me 2 free dev+scans, which I declined due to the errors being with their equipment and handling. I then followed up, stating this - their reply was to shift the blame to me, entirely claiming that I took the film through an X-ray scanner, and that's why they look bad. They never left the UK!
