A great value for the money
I feel like the two courses I took from Knowadays were well-crafted and a good value for the money. I learned a great deal of helpful information for becoming a freelance proofreader/editor. The experience was generally smooth and easy to manage. There was enough challenge to help me grow, but it was not too difficult either. I also liked that I had unlimited time to finish, so I could work at my own pace. And the best thing is that I had an offer of trial employment as a proofreader after successfully passing the proofreading and editing courses. The final exams were more difficult than I thought, but I was able to succeed after careful work. There were also tutors available for support, but I did not feel the need to consult them until the end for a final review. Overall, I was highly satisfied with the two courses that I took.

Excellent courses!
I just completed the Becoming An Editor course, and earlier this year I took Becoming A Proofreader. Both were excellent! I enjoyed going through the lessons at my own pace, and the practical exercises were really helpful. The tutors were encouraging, polite, and professional, and I appreciate having continued access to the course material for future reference. I now feel much more confident about pursuing a career in this field.

The course and the workbook together
The course and the workbook together are great. If you work consistently at it, you can complete it in one full day, or two days. I enjoyed the course and I learned a great deal. I do wish that we could say our speech and receive feedback on it.

Great experience
Knowadays Tutors are helpful and very responsive. The course material is well-structured and informative. I think I would have gained a lot by having a few more marked assignments to do to gain a bit more experience. I also learn a lot from examples and would have profited from more examples in the material.

I recently completed the "Becoming a Proofreader" course from Knowadays, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the entire experience. If you are looking for a professional, self-paced, and truly supportive environment to start a freelance career, you can’t go wrong this course.
The tutor support at Knowadays is exceptional. My tutors, Rebecca and Laura, couldn’t do enough to help and I wouldn’t have passed without their help, support and encouragement. Their feedback was amazing and I really felt like they were genuinely invested in my success.
The course is packed with interactive quizzes and practice documents that allow you to apply what you've learned immediately.

The curriculum was very thorough
The curriculum was very thorough, and I learned a lot in this course. The exercises and quizzes were fun and helpful, making it easier for me to identify my weaknesses.

Excellent Intro to the Basics
I really appreciate the self-paced courses at Knowadays. The fact-checking class was ready when I was. This is a topic that I've been curious about since I first heard about it. The class taught what types of facts that one should look for and how to go about checking them against reputable sources. It also covers image checking (is it showing what you think it shows?), including clues that it might be AI-generated. All good content and relevant practice exercises. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to have an intermediate course or practicum to follow this course. I highly recommend this course if you are looking for a solid introduction to fact-checking.

I have recently finished my course on Becoming a Proofreader and passed with distinction. The material is presented in a crisp, modern and graspable fashion. Every detail is explored in depth from spelling and punctuation to grammar, tone, different ways written works would be presented in different fields and beyond. I had a truly pleasant experience working through the course at my own pace and the added resources are invaluable. Whenever I needed assistance in any regard the team jumped right on it or provided me with the necessary information at lightning speed.
