It is supposed to be a free alternative to Quizlet, but I honestly think it is more annoying to navigate Knowt.io's interface than to just pay for Quizlet. I am moving back to Quizlet after almost four years of trying to be patient with Knowt. It is simply not worth it.

I don't understand why I have to provide so much information about myself for flashcards for my German class. This isn't the freaking government. Every turn it asks for me to pay then kicks me to some homepage instead of what I was trying to review over. Stupid website that hinders any learning.

Would be 5 stars without ads. This used to be my go-to that I recommended to everyone but particularly as an autistic person it is utterly impossible for me to focus on my studying with pop up videos every 10 seconds that I have to skip. If ads are necessary, how about static pictures that don't take up half the screen right by the submit button?

Pure scam.
I cancelled this service over a year ago and they are still charging me. There is no way to get rid of the subscription, customer support is useless, and once they take your money, it’s gone. Avoid at all costs.

Slowest least optimized website I have ever seen, and they bombard you with ads and unskippable icons. I don't see how quizlet is inferior but at least this works some of the time?

i love knowt so much. i lwk want to gatekeep it because its a free version of quizlet and personally the ads are fine and i can cope with it

The ads are distracting and are sometimes put over the submit buttons. Like when doing flashcards, the part which has the x or checkmark is covered with an ad. People who want to study do not want to be distracted with moving ads, it hurts our grades. The website itself has some good qualities, but sometimes mixing the term with the definition doesn't make sense. The writing part of the quizzes are near impossible since you have to get each word right rather than the idea. I will probably go back to quizlet once I am done studying with the flashcard set I made unless these things are fixed.

The ads and bugs on computer make it almost unbearable to use, however the mobile version is amazing. I love the import mechanism, and it works just like quizlet.

Back then its free, now its no longer a free alternative and I cant even make free AI generated flashcards for free anymore because I have to pay a hefty amount as a high school student with no job or allowance.

You know atleast it use to have a trial or like a test run for the summarization now its just a "free baiter" pretending you help you. and the prices are so overpriced

It's an okay alternative to Quizlet, I guess, but the ads are super annoying, and when they're not taking up half of my computer's memory and going super slow because it, they're taking up half of the screen to the point where I can hardly see want I want to click on...

I'm not against ads because people have to get paid and maintain the website, but many apps and websites do just fine without taking up my computer memory, so why can't Knowt do the same. I don't see the bombardment of ads doing much but losing users and annoying them.

I even considered going back to Quizlet or using an ad blocker, and I might, I'm not sure yet. Without ads, it would be 5 stars.

I used to love this when I used it for my GCSEs but added ads and you cant even see the screen. There are so many that it makes my laptop crash and glitch. I am coming close to my A-Levels so its too late to change but if I ever need to study again I will stay far away from this app.

Scam, was charged after my free trail ended, I said no problem I will contact customer support, however I got no response back, will be doing a credit card charge back, these people are scammers.

Just when the split screen on iPad issue was finally fixed, 19 of my flashcards did not save from the new set that i created which contained 60. It could have been worse. Lost progress can have detrimental consequences. Do better.

It was a good app and free alternative for quizlet until they start to add ads on the website and also there are more and more bugs seen on the website recently. I'm still using it for my gcses rn but next year i'm defo switching apps

It was fantastic when they had less ads. Idk something went wrong and studying on the platform is a real struggle now with all the ads.

Says its a free alternative to quizlet but once you make a set they bombard your page with ads to the point you cant even see the screen, making it necessary to buy the no-ads version. Might as well pay for quizlet at that point. This convinced me to buy quizlet plus.

This app is a scam. Firstly, the app doesn't even work as intended and when I tried to get support to help me, they charged me for the subscription without my consent and then ghosted me. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!
