Kuanta used a framework relevant to our industry and country which gave the nuance other models lack. This gave an in-depth review which goes beyod surface level pitch deck analysers.

Great experience

Found the startup assessment highly insightful, especially around hidden risks

I worked at Kuanta for a few months in 2025. During that time, my entire batch of colleagues across product, engineering, and the intern cohort went unpaid and even vendors! We found that money was leaving the company bank account and going into the founder's personal account every month while the rest of us were still waiting on salaries and payment.

People started leaving one by one. Some were pushed out after asking about their pay. The last person from my batch to go was our IT engineer, who eventually took the whole website down and replaced it with a note saying the developer had not been paid.

After that, former employees began posting their own accounts publicly. Those posts were taken down, as far as we could tell by the founder and his second in command.

The product idea is solid and the team behind it was capable. The problem is how the founder ran the company. Interns and full time staff alike went unpaid for work they had already delivered. One colleague relocated from France to Kuala Lumpur at his own expense, covering his own flights and accommodation, and was cut loose and left stranded there after asking about his salary.

Several investors have since removed Kuanta from their LinkedIn profiles, reportedly because they could not reach him to ask whether any of this was true.

He went quiet for several months and has now resurfaced with a new team. I hope they are getting paid. If you are being recruited by him, or thinking about putting money into this company, understand what happened to the people who came before you.

I was one of the employees for couple of months in 2025. Employees in my batch, from product, interns, ITs were not getting paid and we found out that the company bank account transferred unexplainable amount of money to founder's bank account each month, where all employees were waiting for their salary.

The peak was everyone started to leave one by one or even got fired for asking for their salary. The IT guy was actually the last standing guy from my batch and if you read the review before me, the IT dropped his last ammunition by blacking out the whole website and put notes of "the developer is not getting paid."

Followed up from there, all the former employees started to write up their testimonials. Apparently, all these were removed by the founder and his right-hand girl. The solution is actually nice, but not the founder. He's the biggest threat to this business and for potential investors that are trying to put your money to this business, you better step back and go away.

The founder went missing for couple of months to clear the air and tension. Now he's back with set of new team members (hopefully they're getting paid). However, for others that are reading this and trying to be recruited by him, don't get fooled.

I wanted to try their pitch deck analysis feature when i ran into black screens with messages on them saying that the developper didn't get paid for his work. I couldn't use the service for several days. Terrible experience, and not a good sign when employees resort to that kind of extremes to get their dues.
Definitely stay away from them.
