My wife and I had a wonderful safari trip two weeks ago in Uganda. I contacted 5 safari operators and evaluated the safari itinerary before the trip. in the end, we decided to select the 8 days safari luxury package from Kubwa 5 Safari. Kubwa 5 team, Joesef and Samuel, greeted us at Entebbe airport and we had a private land cruiser with open top. We went through Lake Mburo, Bwindi Forest, Queen Elizabeth NP and Kibale Forest. We encountered endless wild animals, such Gorilla, Chimpanzees, tree lions and many more. The Kubwa 5 team is excellent, they are very knowledgeable, friendly and flexible when we want to change some stop point. they are also working hard and providing first class services.

One additional point we would like to thank Kubwa 5 team specially: they arranged a heart touching Batwa community visit. Before the trip, Kubwa 5 team informed us that we will visit Batwa community at Bwindi Forest and reminded us to being some gifts for Batwa people. We brought 10 solar powered lanterns from Australia, and Kubwa 5 team worked with local community guide and help us to present the 10 lanterns to 10 Batwa family. it became a heart touching moment when we saw the happy smile of Batwa people.

Various cat species were observed such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Apart of the big cats, we also saw animals. The most unforgettable experience was seeing a leopard chase an antelope.
The guide had a high level of enthusiasm and a willingness to accommodate our needs, ensuring that we had the most comprehensive safari experience available.

He ensured our sense of safety for the entirety of the safari and accommodated our requests to stop the vehicle for the purpose of capturing photographs.

Peter had exceptional proficiency in positioning us in close proximity to the game, displaying a remarkable sense of direction. During our observation, a significant number of animals and a diverse array of bird species were sighted.

We had the opportunity to observe the renowned "Big Five" creatures, an experience that left an indelible impression on us. Additionally, we had the chance to tour a Maasai village, engage in dialogue with members of the Maasai community, and get insights into their cultural practices and lifestyle.

The entire experience was quite enjoyable and filled with numerous thrilling encounters. The safari landcruiser provided a comfortable and spacious setting.

I cannot recommend enough the safari offered by Kubwa Five Safaris to anyone seeking an unforgettable vacation. Our guide deserves a great deal of credit for making the vacation so memorable.

Absolutely nothing like it had ever happened before. Our rides were prompt, and we were treated like royalty the whole way. Likewise, we never once worried for our safety.

Peter, our driver, was fantastic; he was helpful, friendly, and totally chill. Peter was our hero for the journey, and if I were to come back, he would be our driver once again.

To see the best of Uganda, the Pearl of Africa, we suggest a trip organized by Kubwa Five Safaris.

The vehicles were of high quality, and the guides drove us extremely safely.

Seeing the animals in the wild and having a guide who is very knowledgeable. He exhibited so much patience when explaining to the children.

It was a memorable experience travelling with Kubwa Safaris. The hospitality was holistically the best. Thanks Joseph for being ethical and informed about people's diversity and for sure tjanks a lot for the promotion of equality. The most interesting bit was during the early morning game ride, the lecture about the big five and their adaptive nature of life was really amazing. With one star budget, i got a five star experience.

We did the 20 day Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania. (Luxury)
And the reason why i give 4 stars and not 5 is because i think some of the Hotels could be better curated. Specifically the ones in Kenya and Bwindi (Uganda), Although they were good located inside the parks, they were a bit old. Not that they were cheap hotels, they must have been luxury at some point and they still hold the price tag. But i think it is worth exploring other smaller hotel/lodges with a boutique feel "understated luxury”, more personal. You can arrange all this with Joseph, because he wants to give you the best trip possible, i am sure of that.

The drivers/guides were professional and we got along with all 3 of them. Since the longest time was spent In Uganda with Samuel, we were sad to say goodbye to him at the airport after 12 days together. Samuel is a responsible and safe driver, polite, good sense of humor, a bit shy and a great smile.

Some of the hotels are upper mid range as specified on the list from the agency, and i was told that they choose this ones (instead of the luxury option) because of location. This is true for the 1st lodge in Murchinson National park. We only wish we would have had a little time to sit down and see the sunset over the river. The game drives can be as long or short as you want so one of the afternoons make sure you are back before sunset and take 20 minutes to sit outside and enjoy the views.

In Kibale, Uganda our tip would be to do the community walk (Note that the community walk can be as short or long as you want.) that afternoon instead of the next day after the chimpanzee trek. The reason being, that after the chimpanzee trek you can drive straight to Kyaninga and arrive there early. This is a beautiful hotel where you can do a few activities at the lodge….and we thought the setting is spectacular (they will also do your laundry complimentary so make sure you give it straight away as you arrive) We manage to be there by 13:00 and jump in the lake for a short swim, then we did a walk around the crater.

Lake Bunyonyi, the view to the lake 👍🏼, nice staff at the restaurant and they have a BARISTA in house, so if you like coffee Cyrus makes a perfect cup every time.

Wild Waters lodge is WOW place and the rafting there was so much fun….for some reason it was all about tipping the boat over, never before in other rafting’s was that the main objective but here i guess the currents are optimum for safe tipping.

I am so glad that I booked my 3 week safari with Kubwa Five Safaris. The iteniery was perfect, the guides, Amos, Peter and Linus were knowledgeable and the accommodations were excellent. Joseph made sure that all my wishes were met and surpassed. I would highly recommend Kubwa Five.

First of all, I must say that I was very impressed with the communication and prompt response to all of our questions as we prepared for this adventure. The level of information we were provided left no questions unanswered.

This was more than just a safari, which I envisioned as sitting in a car and driving around, spotting animals all day. In addition to driving around, we rode bikes, took boat rides, ziplined, hiked, and enjoyed a balloon ride. It was an adventure of a lifetime!

We visited Uganda (chimpanzees and gorillas!), Kenya, and Tanzania and all of our guides were incredible. They were well-informed, kind, and put up with my sarcasm and my husband's terrible jokes. They were also good listeners to our needs. I particularly wanted to see cats in Tanzania and our guide spent the day making sure that I was not disappointed.

We chose the "luxury" option and I am still thinking back to several of our lodges and how breathtaking they were.

I would absolutely recommend KubwaFive Safaris to anyone. It's time to start filling the Africa Trip jar again!

What a memorable and rememberable experience to travel with KUBWA FIVE SAFARIS ..it is a safer, affordable and enjoyable experience.

We got to see many animals in their natural habitats, we saw lions, leopards, Wildebeest, giraffes, elephants, etc.

The scenery of Ngorongoro crater and Serengeti National Park was spectacular. Our driver/guide very accommodating on the safari. We were very comfortable and were impressed by his amazing hospitality.

It was a nice Tanzania budget safari and I would recommend Kubwa Five Safaris.
