Labrums Solicitors LLP Reviews

Extremely pleased with our experience handling the conveyancing for our recent house sale & purchase. Each individual we dealt with was very professional, efficient and acted promptly to any queries or matter arising, but particularly Laura and her team. Would definitely recommend Labrums.

We used Labrums Solicitors for our house purchase (we were in rented accommodation). Our dealings were over a period of 6 months as we wanted an early exchange with a delayed completion. Throughout that time Labrums were always on the ball and we had every confidence in them from the start until we completed on 26th April. Labrums were even able to complete the purchase before midday, making our life so much easier with the removals. We would not hesitate in using Labrums in the future,

A first class service from Laura Mills and her team in completing the sale of our property. Would definitely consider using Labrums again in the future. Highly recommended. Sally

Excellent services. Quick & efficient. Completed the process well before the target. Very happy. Thank you to you all. 😊😊

Labrums Team have been very prompt and helpful in the entire process. It an an amazing experience. Highly Recommended!!

Don't trust their original estimate of costs! You will end up spending several thousand more in the end. Labrums handled my father's Estate, the whole process including Probate to distribution. The Will was quite straightforward and they knew all the details from the start. The original estimate of costs was £4620 (they later admitted this was too low) I paid another £1000 later on and thought that was it, as their Schedule 2 said it includes the whole process up to Distribution. They ended up taking another £3000 approx out of the Estate, so I think the total fees they've taken are £8788, getting on for double the original estimate! I don't know the exact figure as the Accounts are so complicated. I've asked them twice to confirm the total fees but they haven't answered. There's a whole lot more I could say, for example, they distributed the Estate before issuing the final (third) version of the accounts saying that the beneficiaries had approved it. I hadn't approved it!
A stressful unpleasant experience.

We were time pressured. Our sale & purchase was progressing over summer. I spoke to one of the solicitors and explained that we needed commitment to speed over the summer and to make sure that they were going to be around. The first solicitor I spoke to was honest enough to admit that she was going to be away and instead referred the case to Roxanne Stevenson. Roxanne advised that she would be around over summer and committed to do everything she could to progress our case. Roxanne and team responded to all questions and progressed all actions with speed and accuracy. She was true to her word and I can neither thank nor recommend Roxanne and the team at Labrams enough!

Thank you to Michael and the Team & for your diligence, care & attention in respect of my property purchase and for leaving no stone unturned in respect of a very complicated lease agreement. Most grateful & happily recommend the service provided.

The entire team at Labrums were helpful through the our sale and onward purchase.
In both cases Labrums were the only Solicitors who were always up to date and ahead of the process and gave great levels of information as proactively working to help move things along. Cannot recommend enough

Bethany (and the rest of the team at Labrums) was quick to reply and explained things in an understandable way to us.

It works particularly well for us having everything via email and on the portal, because it means that conversations can't get missed or not acted on.

We are glad we went with Labrums, as recommended, since we've been burnt before by sluggish conveyancers who lack attention to detail - Bethany was the opposite.

The only drawback we found was in that, rather than being drip-fed the purchase information throughout the process, we had to wait for Bethany's very thorough report. It was a useful document, but weighty and a lot to chew through in one go!

Generally I felt they were efficient but I was shocked when they sent my bank statement to my son. Also when I was sent contracts to sign they put my old address on the contract which had to be amended.

I found Labrum’s to be diligent, quick to respond and helpful. No complaints.

I used labrums Solicitors for passport related issues and even though my case was very unique and complicated (Sergio Zamudio) my solicitor's expertise in Spanish legal affairs made me feel confident I found the right man for the job.

You may find cheaper. You won't find better.

Many thanks Sergio!

We used Labrums for our recent house purchase in Berkhamsted. Very happy with their work. They were diligent, flexible, responsive and reasonably priced. Wouldn’t hesitate to use again or recommend to family and friends.

Really good firm to deal with. Everything was done in a timely and professional manner. Thank you to the team.

We used the services of Labrums for the complicated and long process of obtaining Spanish NIE numbers, writing Spanish wills and the transfer of ownership of a property in Spain.
Spanish law is so complicated and we were so lucky to have found Labrums.Sergio Zamudio Bastida was our solicitor.Sergio guided us through all the processes and explained every step to us clearly and in terms that we could understand. He went the extra mile to help and assist us and answer our endless queries.E mails were responded to promptly and often out of office hours. The terms and conditions and fees were clearly explained and documented at the start of our business with the company and there were no hidden extras.During the course of our business with Sergio we had to conduct a Zoom call. This was easy and straighforward to conduct.
We would highly recommend Labrums and especially the services of Sergio Zamudio Bastida.

The Conveyancing team were very efficient, quick to respond, and very helpful.

Absolutely brilliant work during the sake of our property. It was a difficult process and Labrum’s went above and beyond in getting things done. Thank you!

We used Labrums for our house sale and purchase. They always answered email queries the same day, often within a few hours. They even did some minor extra checks that our buyers solicitors didn't seem to manage. All the team were friendly and they always phoned you back if you left a message.
