Lakai Reviews 

Bought a pair of Lakai Cambridge shoes. Having worn them about 10 times for casual use, not skating, the backs have worn through to the hard rubber. I have worn other brands such as Vans & Converse for months without any similar wear.

I emailed Lakai & this was their response:
"This is a common thing in all brands of footwear and can be caused by a few different reasons, the shoes being slipped on and off, the shoes not fitting perfectly, the shoes not being laced tight enough basically if theres movement in the shoe this is something that can happen. Due to this it’s not covered by warranty as it’s not a manufacturing fault"

They offered me 15% off of a replacement pair. I certainly won't be taking up that offer.

Just received my second & three pair of Lakai's & I'm totally proud of my purchases. The Cambridge blk/blk suede & the tan/olive ones too,🔥🎯🎯💪🏾
I ordered straight from Lakai.com & had zero issues with the two pairs that came together which was totally awesome.
I got exposed to Lakai in Tulsa Oklahoma @ a skateboard shop downtown called
"918 skates" witch closed down now.
Lakai is my #1 go to for sneakers hands down ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

Shoes were bought as a gift in the wrong size . Exchange process is ridiculous and completely unethical. It was already confusing that we have to pay for a shipping label , no problem , paid ! Then there was a price difference made the next day and they requested $31 dollars . Not so much a gift anymore if we were ending up paying the exact discount amount the person that gifted us the same price … customer service was no help at all . So we got a refund but out $11.00 for the shipping label . Money hungry company .

Ordered a pair of £60 shoes from this company for my partner. He'd always worn lakai when he was young and did a lot of Skateboarding and said they were the best shoes he'd ever had.
So I decided to buy him a pair.
The shoes arrived the next day in a box which looked like it had been stamped on repeatedly.
As I was giving this as a gift I decided to contact lakai and showed them the pictures.
Got an email back from them wiping their hands of the issue and pointed me in the direction of the courier company, stating it was there issue. Lakai had my money so was no longer interested.
I contacted the courier company who told me to get in touch with Lakai as they would have to sort it.

So now I'm left with a gift which looks second hand. Very very dissapointing.
I'd definitely advise avoiding this site and shopping with another stockist if you need Lakai. I certainly will be in the future.
