This review is based on a recent experience and personal opinion. Ordered a laptop battery and the site clearly stated the availability as "usually ships within 24 hours". After not having heard anything from them in 3 days and not having received my tracking number I emailed them to inquire further. After not receiving a reply to my email I tried to contact them by phone at their stated opening hours of 8am EST but kept getting VM so I left a message. I received a response about 2 hours later from their Director of Customer Experience that the battery was on back order which was never disclosed to me at the time of purchase or noted on the product page or my receipt. Even at the time of this review the availability still clearly states "usually ships within 24 hours" with no mention of back order. As a result of this experience it is my personal opinion that you should STEER CLEAR OF THIS VENDOR. It is my opinion based on this experience that they lack transparency, professionalism, provide poor customer service and DO NOT live up to the golden rule they espouse on their about us page. This could have easily been resolved had they admitted their failure to disclose the back order issue and offered to overnight the battery once it was back in stock but their Director of Customer Experience chose to double down and even became belligerent when I told them to cancel the order and refund my card. In fact they told me that it would take weeks to credit back my card which is again in my opinion very telling about who they are and what you can probably expect should you happen to run into a similar situation.

I reached out to LaptopBatteryExpress with some basic questions about a Samsung-cell battery for my Asus Q536FD, warranty terms, cell quality, and assembly origin. Their response was vague and avoided specifics, even when I asked about certification and label transparency. For a $118+ battery, I expected clearer answers. It felt like they weren’t willing to stand behind the product with real details. Disappointing experience.

The batteries are trash and they remove one star reviews of their products without explaination. I ordered a battery advertised as having cells made by Samsung in Korea. The fitment was poor with 2mm of battery sticking out the back and the locking mechanism broke the first time removing it because I had to press so hard, it just about broke the case of my laptop. The battery had no indication of where it was made other that "Assembled in China". I guarantee no company would spend money on high end cells only to put them in a poorly fit case.

I purchased a laptop battery from them back in early November. Literally emailed them the day after I got it (dated Nov 15th) to say I don't need it and would like to return it. I waited a week then called and got a voicemail (really?). Left a voicemail. No response on either accounts. I have several laptops at various stages of life and when they need a battery in the future, I won't be going to this company again.

Good, straightforward. I ordered a laptop battery from them, and the one they sent me didn't have the same part number, which I was worried about.. but I took the part to a computer shop to be installed, and all seems to be well.
