The whole concept and development for students with lateral connect is second to none

I found mentoring someone on the Lateral Connect program quite rewarding personally and professionally. Even though it didn't go quite as well as I felt it could have, it was mainly because of breakdown in communication between the mentee and I due to tight schedules. I feel that formalising the communication between mentor and mentee will definitely improve the program rather than leave it to both parties to plan meetings as convinent. Formalizing the communication will make both parties more committed to it. Overall, I think it's a great initiative
