COMPANY FILED BANKRUPTCY AND JAKE HARE GHOSTED WITH $25k of my funds…
DO NOT TRUST JAKE HARE

On January 27th, 2023, only four days after Mr. Hood’s review on the 23rd, Mr Jake Hare, CEO of LaunchPeer sent an unexpected email declaring that Launchpeer was electing bankruptcy.

This meant that me, and dozens of others have lost all the coaching, calls, support, insight, reframing, or whatever was supposed to come to us when we paid an entry fee ranging between $10k-$15k to get into the program.

All of the human factor that made the fee into Launchpeer suddenly went up in smoke. An employee there had explained to me in a private email that he and the rest of the staff were laid off suddenly.

I have since lodged complaints with the BBB, the South Carolina Dept of Consumer Affairs, and the Federal Trade Commission for the collective damage done to the non-technical founders relying on a seemingly safe, stable-if-not-growing, 8-year old company and the fee-for-service agreement we had was reliable.

To say this is a disappointment is an understatement. I can’t speak for others but when I learned of LP’s closure, that loss, equating to a third of my annual income, had been wiped away as if it never existed… it became a driver to my own mental unwellness. My husband and the community members who donated to my effort to cover Launchpeer’s fee have remained faithful in me nonetheless. A grace that I am immensely grateful for.

Still, it’s not even more upon me to follow through somehow, now without what I paid for.

Shame on Jake Hare and his enabling attorneys. Y’all done us dirty!

Because I'm still sold on the fact that this has been the best decision! Lots of work, but well worth it.

The future looks brighter by the day

Launchpeer's program structure really made it clear what activities and milestones are needed for early stage founders, how to approach them, and how to execute on them. Really helpful for those who don't really know where to get started with their ideas and concepts.

The videos, introductions, and self-work made this experience life-changing. If not for the organization of the steps, we would not be as successful as we are. The program is worth every penny.

The coursework is designed for beginners and non-technical founders, which is exactly what I was looking for. There are things that can be done on your own but the step-by-step course is very helpful.

Excellent Way to bring your tech Idea into reality.

Skeevy, had a call with one of their sales reps. Gave off a very used car salesman vibe. Very clearly prey on people who are not knowledgeable about the tech space to get people to give them money. Don't sign up!!! Everything they offer can be found elsewhere on the internet for free.

Launch-peer is a great program. You must be willing to do the work and be held accountable to benefit. They provide the resources to help you implement strategies to test your idea and gather the information to help you make important decision. VERY IMPRESSED

Launchpeer offers an excellent process for early stage startup founders to refine their ideas and construct a prototype. Their team gives you the resources and expertise of a much larger company. Their feedback and perspective is invaluable throughout. I highly recommend the Launchpeer incubator program.

Great information and material. Just what I needed to get my idea into becoming a product and find the traffic I'll need to bring it into the market. Jake is a great source of information and very good at teaching people everything you need to know to get started.

This is just the beginning, and it is starting off great. I have confidence in myself as well as my idea. I feel that this could be one of my greatest investments for myself.

Creating copy for my customers before building the product had an unexpected win. Typically I can't resist describing my products features as the benefits for my customers ... because I'm in love with my product. Even though I know I need to be in love with the problem not the solution, I just can't resist. But I didn't have anything really to describe so I focused on describing my inspiration, what I wanted my customers to feel.

The experience during Launch Weekend was great. You really got the impression that Jakes was passionate about working with startups and wanted to help them succeed.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself, learned a ton and am so excited to get started on my business.

This was a great starter pack to get your vision up and running. It's so easy to postpone your idea for another day. Launchpeer (Jake) does a great job mentoring and providing guidance and resources for those needing the extra push.
