Hi I have an ongoing child custody case in Bulgaria. I am English. I went with kamen Shoylev law firm. They said it was a clear case, did not really need much more information as our previous lawyer, had sent them all the details. And thought around ,£5000. That was in March 2024. Now around £20.000. They have never got a favorable resuilt. At any any court hearing. Still never had an english speaking lawyer, and I feel. Totally ripped off. Anyone else had any issues with this firm. Charge a fortune 300 euro. An hour. And have delived not one positive outcome. And always saying that they cant beleive the judge has gone against them. ?

Extremely inadequate attitude towards clients, I would even say that it is unethical towards its clients.
For more than 2 years I expected a single document from abroad for child support and guardianship to be recognized. Lawyer Vladimirov always had "logical" excuses why the document was not recognized, until finally the other party opened a new case for recognition of the same document!!!
Mr. Vladimirov requested a new amount for this case, although it is about recognizing the SAME DOCUMENT!! And not only did the other party submit the same document and recognize it in 2 months, but he also sentenced me to pay the court costs. About which Mr. Vladimirov simply kept quiet and did not even advise me to appeal. And when I asked why he did not inform me, he said that there was no way I could win and there was no point.
After that he "advised" me to open a new case for collecting the claims for child support under this document for only 1 year ago, which amazed me. When I consulted with another lawyer, it turned out that I could proceed directly through the court based on the new decision and receive the amounts for ALL the years back without opening new cases.
You are the judge of the competence or loyalty/ethics of this lawyer, who is trying in every way to get more money for the same work that he never does.
