The service was great but being someone who was starting a new business and had many things to do.

I believed I had entered into a contract that was 12months, I was told it was for 12 months, I signed a contract that was 12months so then to find that LegalVision continued to direct debit me $850 a month made everything good you had done go to the way side.

As I mentioned I was and am starting a new business so every dollar matters & working with LegalVision was budgeted . So to find out that there was no real point in even having a contract I felt lied to, deceived, misled, overwhelmed, upset & angry.

Holly was extremely patient, knowledgeable and professional throughout our interactions. A situation that was very difficult for me was made a lot easier with her input

We cannot recommend the LegalVision team enough. They have been there during some extremely stressful and challenging times, and have been compassionate and accommodating throughout. There systems are easy to navigate and their communication is excellent.

Legal Vision is absolutely value for money. You raise a request on their efficient App, a meeting to discuss requirements is quickly arranged within a couple of days, and then they turn around your requirements within 5 days. They have helped us so much with Contracts, Data Protection, Legal Advice, IP etc. Very Professional Legal Advice, brilliant service! Highly recommend!

Legal services provider LegalVision operates on a membership model that, in my experience, can become restrictive for startups and did not match the expectations set at the outset.

After several years on a high-tier plan, I found the service underwhelming. Queries I reasonably expected to fall within the membership scope were often treated as out-of-scope, with additional paid work suggested. This occurred consistently enough that I stopped relying on the service for general legal advice and instead sought external providers, despite maintaining the membership.

In practice, the model felt less like ongoing support and more like incremental upselling when matters required any level of specificity.

The value proposition becomes unclear when routine legal questions — including those that are relatively standard — are positioned as additional paid work rather than included support. This created friction and reduced trust in the arrangement.

A key issue is contractual rigidity. In my case, the agreement involved a long-term commitment (three years) with limited flexibility to exit, which increased downside risk given the evolving needs of the business.

Based on my experience, this model may not suit early-stage or fast-moving businesses that require flexibility, clear scope boundaries, and adaptive support.

Conclusion: I would not recommend this structure for startups seeking flexible, personalised legal support.

I had an excellent experience with LegalVision. We appointed them to manage a new commercial lease & agreement to lease. As a new business, dealing with legal requirements can be daunting, but Louise & Paul made everything so much better than we could have imagined.
