Beware! Lend Up Microfinance is a Scam!

I had the worst experience ever with Lend Up Microfinance. They are nothing but a bunch of scammers! I was credited without even asking for a loan and i refunded their money immediately but yet they still want me to pay them another sum of money.....
First, they charged me a huge upfront fee that they never mentioned during the application process. After I paid the fee, they kept asking for more and more money, claiming that i still owe them. By the time I realized what was happening, I had already given them hundreds of thousands.

Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from Lend Up Microfinance. They are professional con artists preying on people in desperate situations. I've reported them to the authorities, but I'm not sure if anything will come of it. Just remember: if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

DO NOT TRUST THIS APP!

LendUp was very useful in helping me get a loan. The actual loan amount came not directly from them, but from one if their partnering direct lenders. The application process was pretty straightforward also.

I worked with LendUp for a long time. I AM an EXCELLENT customer! I paid ALL my loans IN FULL - EARLY!!
I am retired and attempting to re-establish my credit score. As a single female, on a fixed income, a bank would not provide me a personal loan. I ran across LendUp and after reading about their "LendUp Ladder" program, I took out a PayDay Loan and built up to also taking out an installment loan.
As I get additional financial funding quarterly, I used their service until I could pay down my credit card debit and then planned to pay them off.
I've been diligent about paying my loans in full and paying EARLY. Then I would then reloan.
Today, I thought was going to be the same until I paid my "installment loan" IN FULL by debit card. HOWEVER, when I went to reloan, the website advised me that they NO LONG PROVIDE THIS SERVICE! NO PRIOR NOTICE GIVEN!! This has REALLY put me in a bad position!
My bank could not stop a debit transaction. They advised me to call the merchant.
I called LendUp and asked them to stop the payment and said that I would instead op to pay the final (installment) loan in installments payments, if they were discontinuing this service. The answer I received - "sorry".
Making my payments on time (or early if possible) is my number one priority and now LendUp - WITH NO PRIOR NOTICE - has blown my finances out of the water!!! (THANK YOU!!!) Now I have to scramble in attempt to stay balanced.
If I had known? NEVER WOULD I HAVE USED THIS SERVICE !!!!!!!!!

I feel their loans are the best than some others. Friendly and really work with you I got help with some others but kept lend up they are fair.

LendUp is the best! I appreciate the quick advance and ability to choose my payback date. I also don’t get flooded with emails. Very grateful for this service.

Not bad interest rate and gives you a month to pay it back. I only used it once for emergency but it really helped out.

When I needed money the most Lendup was there for me.

Lendup has been nothing but stress, the first time applying and I get denied that was years ago. My chase bank acct which has no longer been active since years is still linked through lend-up. I find it very untrustworthy that there has been absolutely no help or way to change it. Each time I do the process the support for the app or browser crashes at the finalizing moment. I tried over and over on changing it, I tried applying again lo and behold I get approved with a bank account that is no longer mine, yet the only one still able to be compatible with loans from lendup and receiving loan. I have a valid bank account that can recieve loans but le-up is refusing any other bank accounts I have all together. I feel cheated,scammed, and frauded. Tried looking for my customer ID number. No where to be found. No work, no money. World virus, and lendup!! Love it
