Lendwise is always on top of your application, replies promptly, and makes the process smooth and easy.

Once they realised that the postgraduate loan would be paid back in 2 years, they suddenly were not interested and declined to offer. Not interested in helping people, interested in the interest they can get over so many years, instead of 20 months.

When Lendwise created an ISA vehicle I jumped on the opportunity and I certainly do not regret it. It is really an amazing concept to help students get loans when they need it the most, while securing a decent return. Having had a portfolio for more than 2 years I have a great experience.

I used Lendwise to refinance a sponsorship from a previous employer. From the start they were flexible, took time to understand my situation, and acted quickly for the disbursement.

During the time of the loan they were responsive and, when small mistakes were made, they fixed them quickly and were very transparent.

Final repayment was quite straightforward and they did not surprise me with hidden fees, charges or other amounts.

I had a smooth experience using Lendwise. The team is very responsive and answered all my questions in detail. I was able to repay my loan early without any additional fees.

Not the most helpful customer service, called a couple of times to receive some advice before applying and they were unhelpful just encouraged me to apply only for them to decline my application. Called for further information to why it was denied again they were unhelpful, when asked on advice on how to improve my chances in the future again they were unable to assist me. It would have been nice to have a discussion / advice or tips rather than to be told I’m sorry I can’t go into dieter detail. Considering it’s a loans company that caters to students I would have expected a better level of guidance as students tend to be unaware of loans and it can be an overwhelming situation. Please do better and value your customers even if they’ve not received loans from you, it seems great customer care is only received if your loan application is granted.

Lendwise is very frustrating to deal with. They've tried automating parts of the application process but they don't work properly for people who don't live in the UK and customer service is unhelpful/unresponsive.

Lendwise is a true savior for me and a must-have for all students seeking loans for furthering their education in the UK. Not only are their terms really great and flexible, like no requirement of co-borrower and collateral, but also they honor their words. Also they are available to answer any kind of queries you have through email or telephonic call. My experience has been superb and so are those of my friends who have taken their loans from Lendwise. So without any second thought, go for it!

Don’t bother. Offering me 29% APR which is way more than other lenders offered me. Also they add an additional Origination Fee which is about 10% of the amount you are borrowing

The process was very easy to follow and questions were answered very quickly.

The response time was incredible and Kiran was able to quickly solve the problems I had.

The company was quick at getting the loan to me, but in the second year of my master's the payment fell short of over £1000. So, I called them and Lauren told me it was fine just get the university to invoice them and they will amend the shortfall. The university invoice them and I think everything is sorted.

2 years go by and I get a letter from the university saying that the fees had not been paid. I call the university to ask what was going on they told me that they had invoiced lendwise several times and had no response. I call lendwise to be put through to Lauren who told me that I just need to put in a new application and they are aware that they did not pay the full amount and they will pay the outstanding amount it should not be an issue.
I do this, then shortly after Lendwise cancelled my direct debit to pay them back and I know this because they sent me an email saying that they cancelled it and I checked with my bank to make sure it was not a spam email. And I was upset because that would negatively affect my credit score.

So, I write a complaint about this then I get an email saying they did not cancel my direct debit and accused me of doing it even after I showed them the email they sent me. In the email they asked me if I even work, accused the university of lying, saying they never received an invoice or contact from the university tried to blame me for all of the above, saying that it was fishy that it took the university so long to chase the money and tried to blame me. I was properly gas-light.

They then proceed to bombard my phone with callsmduring working hours and weekends I felt properly harassed.

I got back in touch with the university and explained to them what had happened and what Ledwise had said to me and the university told me that they got a letter from lendwise in April this year (2 years after payment was due) saying that they are not going to pay the outstanding balance and I am the one who is supposed to pay the balance. And guess who it was written by Lauren! (the person who had given me so much false information).

I don't recommend them. When it comes to money, honesty is the best policy. If Lauren had told me in the beginning that they would not pay the outstanding balance for whatever reason, I could have gotten it sorted. Instead of thinking the issue was resolved and 2 years later receiving threatening letters of legal action.

And because of my experience, I do not recommend them. If you are going to use them write everything down and keep a copy of everything. Record every conversation that you have with lendwise on the phone and let them know. Because they are not looking out for you. From my experience, they will screw you over if given the chance and will not even let you know.

If I have any more bad experiences with this company I am definitely leaving a review.

Straightforward application and great customer service!

The entire application process to secure a loan at Lendwise is very straightforward and the team extremely helpful. The team kept me updated throughout the application and a big thank you to Kiran that answered every question I had and was a great help!
