This type of guys doesn't stop to exist.
They ask you to make a fresh new account on blockchain.com, then to give them the password so they "encrypt" the wallet. Then "you can secure with 2fa", off course after they took your Bitcoin private keys.
Here is the email:

Thanks for your reply. I will explain this to you in the simplest term.
If we want to steal from you, we can as well just move the funds
somewhere else instead of going through the stress of recovering the
funds in your account to then have access to it. Most recoveries
companies out there will just redirect the recovered funds to another
account without asking you to open a new one. But we will never do that,
it is against our policy. The only reason we are asking for access to
the Blockchain account is because of the encryption, which is the most
important task to be able to recover these funds.

It is a new Blockchain and not a previous one. You can as well just open
a new one with a completely different email from your regular one. A new
Blockchain is needed because you don't have anything to lose. It is a
new account with no funds, and also you will change your password and
enable 2FA after encryption before the recovery. Funds recovery is an
entirely complicated aspect that requires precision and patience.
