Friendly and professional

Big mistake of mine to sign up

I give one star as people who I spoke with at the till to sign up for membership were very polite and gave me a good impression. Unfortunately, nothing else went as well.
Working hours were extremely limited to short morning and short evening window.
Hygiene was absolutely abandoned - there was not a single sanitiser, there are no bathrooms, you can't even go to toilet or wash your hands, as the only toilet was sealed off the whole time.
I emailed them once and I got a response in the lines of "Everything is fine, what are you complaining about", then I asked for cancellation and got no response at all, so I had to cancel the direct debit to make sure this doesn't continue.
I still receive their 25% off first month offer in my email and it makes me laugh. Good sense of humour.

Exceptionally welcoming. Community atmosphere.. classes are very good. Encouraging motivating and fun.. Jenny is a great manager and leader..

I recently joined this gym with my friend. Good machines and vibe and not too busy

Pretty expensive but very good facilities and if you go at the right time it’s not too busy.

The Pilates class I joined today was great - challenging, but not too difficult. I’ll be making this class a regular part of my routine.

going to lifestyle fitness has made improvements i currently have right side sciatica symptoms i have winged scapula which is worse on the left side after a thumb injury which made me hold items differently which in turn made my elbow and sholder lift differently which ultimately impacted my shoulder after having an injection in my thumb and it healed i got my self in to the gym and an induction with memphis's and with his help i have learned the right and correct technique and form and also the correct weights i should be lifting without hurting myself or straining my body. i highly recommend lifestyle fitness and memphis and to anyone who is looking to succeed in there goals and recovery and rehabilitation back in to working life ive been waiting for endless appointments and physio with no recovery and i feel i made the right choice in going to lifestyle, im a long way to go but i feel for the first time in 3 years im making improvements.

Not enough weights, there is only one rack with one handed weights for biceps, so in the peak hours it's wrestling over them to get one. Reception is helpful that's an advantage. More curved barbells and one handed weights needed, barbells are easy to get and could be stored just somewhere in the corner, especially like few extra curved ones, doesn't take much space and would be significant improvement.

Great facilities with really nice staff who are very good at their jobs.

Really good pricing for the gym and offers alot, the gym is only small but has enough equipment and the instructors and receptionists are all really nice and approachable. Only thing I would change is having a little shelf or hook in the showers to hang up clothes out of the way of the water but it's manageable without.

The Gym is a great place to workout, lots of super equipment and very helpful trainers.

never to busy good equipment

My daughter who has been using the gym is happy with her experience, but i have been struggling to register her brother, its been difficult.

I was a member years ago, and have continued to play football at Lifestyle Fitness Matthew Arnold for over 15 years. Our weekly booking was recently given to another group — without even the courtesy of a call.

We never missed payments, played practically every week of the year, and caused no issues. Sadly, poor management and customer service have brought an end to a weekly tradition that a group of friends has kept alive for over 15 years.

Really relaxed and friendly gym. I love the classes-especially the Yoga class on a Monday 🧘‍♀️
