We spent a lot of time in the shop looking for a new kitchen ceiling light. Thinking we had found something similar to what we were looking for we spent time with Ollie who showed us a number of alternatives.
Fast forward going home to re-check measurements, we then emailed over our order. Alan was most helpful with invoice and payment and the light arrived within the given timeframe from Germany.
Very happy with the overall experience here and the genuine friendly team.

Went to this shop a few weeks ago, very disappointed, the staff didn't seem interested in serving me, one lady dealing with another customer and a chap more interested in his computer than serving myself or another customer who eventually walked out.
When he finally asked if he could help me they had little or no products at the shop which I wanted, he took my email address and said he would try to source a light for me and contact me, I never heard from them.
Having drove some 60+ miles it is not a business I would recommend or bother visiting again.

Brilliant service I placed my order on Monday evening and it was delivered on Wednesday!!!! Beautiful lamp that looks lovely. Would def recommend this company I am not good with technology and online but the webchat service is brilliant and ordering was so easy ! Very happy customer .

For anyone who has seen a bad review attached to my name this was incorrectly assigned through trustpilot to this business in the past week (June 22). It was a review I added in February 2022 on another business, Lancashire Lighting. I have not bought from the Lighting Centre (yet) although having just spoken to them to apologise and heard they have suddenly had a lot of bad reviews from people who are not customers I may in future! I have contacted Trustpilot to see if they can find out what is going on....but beware some of the recent bad reviews on here may be a technical glitch, not real.

I was shocked to see so many bad reviews on here. I only read them AFTER I ordered. A little stupid of me in hindsight. Thankfully the lamps I ordered were good quality for the price. A guide as to the size of the shade would have been helpful. Online, the shades looked a lighter colour, nearer white, but they are actually cream. They still look nice and fit well with the room decor.
I was confused as to which bulbs would be best but the online chat assistant was very professional and ensured I ordered the correct item.

Although it took a little while longer to arrive because of Christmas, the wall light was easy to fit and instructions were adequate for me to fit with no professional help.

Purchased a glass vase from the Liverpool Company office. It was well packed but broken in transit. An email and phone call to the company got me a quick replacement within 1 week without any problems. Would definitely use them again.

I ordered two ceiling lights from this company, I received a very cheap ceiling lights with marks on the lights.I sent the lights back but never had my money back from this company.
I called few times and sent few emails ,then I noticed they were blocking my number not to be able to call them.
I tried contacting with other phones and holding my number but no answer.
please don't buy from this company!they are SCAM.

Very happy. Found exactly the light I wanted and with next day delivery, both of which were less expensive than my local lighting shop.
Online ordering was easy, was amazed that someone was online to respond to my question at 7pm on a Sunday evening before a Bank Holiday!
Delivery was as promised, the light was extremely well packaged and the light itself is beautiful.

I ordered wall lamp and received it damaged shattered glass. No response over the phone no email replies only once they told me they will send return bag Which I never received.

Poor customer service! My money is gone.

Do not buy anything fragile from this 'company'!!
Ordered a 28w 2D light fitting from these guys - arrived sounding like a child's rattle. The lamp was smashed into a thousand pieces and the fixing screws bag was ripped open.
The packaging was undamaged, but had no 'fragile' label attached.
Emailed The Lighting Centre with photos, requesting a replacement lamp - no response!
Further emails were ignored.
Finally managed to speak to someone who promised to send out a lamp - never arrived!
I have never dealt with a company with such bad customer service - once they have your money, that's it.
On the invoice 'Mark' requests you post a 5 star review on Trustpilot. Only 5 star service earns a 5 star review - these guys don't even deserve 1. AVOID

Was looking for some wall lights to match my ceiling lights. Found what I was looking for (EGLO-7187) on The Lighting Centre site at a very reasonable price. Quick dispatch too. Very pleased.

Ordered light fitting on 5 th May. Seemed fine until went to fit lamps into holders and found all screws loose. Tried to tighten but kept falling out due to no thread in holder. Contacted company and left messages several times with no response. Very poor quality and customer service.

We visited The Lighting Centre Guildford in the later part of 2020 looking for suitable pendant fittings for our kitchen.
The staff are extremely helpful, very knowledgeable and courteous.
We proceeded with the order and the items were delivered speedily.
There were a number of small manufacturing issues with the fittings which required some attention.
The test of a good retailer is their post sales customer service. Lighting Centre Guildford resolved all the issues speedily and with great care and attention.
A superb company and very highly recommended.
