the ai filtering sometimes blocks stuff we use for school, and is a clear privacy violation but NOBODY does anything about it.

I would rate 0 stars if i could, but 1 is the lowest i could give to this dumpster fire of a company

IT BLOCKED MY PICKLE VIDEOS :(

when i opened my laptop at home i found my email service, outlook, to be BLOCKED. then 4 completely unrelated men appeared and began tickling my toes. I HATE LINEWIZE FOREVER IJUST WANNA PLAY SOME HK!!!!

I know Linewize is supposed to be a filter for innappropriate websites, videos, and pictures on school devices on school websites and stuff, but Linewize is NOT helpful whatsoever. Whether I'm trying to go onto a website for school or watch a video, whether it be for class or my freetime, Linewize filters almost EVERYTHING EXCEPT THE INNAPPROPRIATE STUFF. Just a couple minutes ago I was trying to watch a video where this guy was testing out a drum kit (not in class, on the weekend), and LINEWIZE IS CENSORING EVERYTHING. Like, why can't i just watch a dude play the drums? Another time, i looked up a disease for a science project, and I COULD SEE A BABYS PRIVATES CLEAR AS DAY, AND LINEWIZE DIDNT FILTER IT. It's not just videos and images, its also websites. I remember at the beginning of this year I had to go onto a website for band class, and IT WAS BLOCKED. YET SOMEHOW WE ARE ALLOWED TO GET ON SKETCHY UNBLOCKED GAME SITES. Point is, Linewize SUCKS and needs to get a better filter, and probably just replace the AI completely (Linewize uses AI to filter, so no wonder why it's bad). I have had to deal with bad AIs before, but this is just stupid.

I just entered 6th grade and linewize is making everything worse. Every time I look up games to play when I have free time, its always blocked. It even blocks websites we're supposed to go on in class. For example, in my reading class I was supposed to go on a audio book website and it blocked that for being "inappropriate." Even at home it still blocks websites when we are not even at school. I know a lot about linewize. Linewize goes into the website you're entering before it loads and sees if its bad or not. They have access to basically anything on your Chromebook (not really). They even no how students get past the filters on their website. I hope I don't have linewize for to long.

(I have experienced all my life, I put the date of experience as the day I post it, cause I cannot say, since I was in 1st grade, aka when I got a chromebook at school. So just know, that The date of experience is not correct, and I cannot make it correct.) Linewize didn’t block YouTube videos about c-nab0lism, and cool math games got blocked. The teachers can actually see our tabs, and close them. (I have seen it) And people are able to get on websites with pirated games (PEOPLE ARE ABLE TO PLAY ANIMAL CROSSING NEW LEAF!) And if you get on like YouTube, it will NOTIFY THE COUNTY! (Yeah.) It also blocks videos that are not bad. (I have a YouTube channel, and some of my old videos, that I ended up deleting, that had nothing wrong with them, were blocked.) It under and over blocks, and is not the best. It is not the best for filtering, but is better than what I have heard abt GoGardian. Linewize, we have been told doesn’t message after, school, but I don’t know if this is true.
Any way I don’t like it, it is not the best, and I HATE IT! (IT ALSO BLOCKS DISNEY AND ITCH. IO, I MEAN WE CANNOT DOWNLOAD GAMES ANYWAY, CHROMEBOOKS IS THE REASON FOR THAT) YEAH. I hate Linewize, 1 star.
