Lings - Suffolk Triumph Reviews 

Recently purchased my used bike from Leon at Lings in Ipswich. I made arrangements to test ride the bike and headed over. As I didn’t know the area, I had asked Leon if there was someone who would come out with me, to my amazement he did! He knew the area which allowed me to concentrate on riding the bike, to make sure it was right for me; needless to say, I purchased the bike. On collection day the 30th March I headed over to collect it, a few bits we had asked to be done prior to collection, unfortunately hadn’t been. They rallied around to get the bits sorted and we headed off. Leon was exceptional and I would definitely deal with him again. I have given 4 stars rather than 5 due to the attention to detail. I fully appreciate it was a very busy time, and anything that wasn’t done we could easily sort ourselves, but it would have been even better to have turned up and my new bike be ready to go!

When Triumph launched their new 400cc bikes, I popped into Lings in Ipswich to get some more information. They had taken in a pair of Screamblers that day so I had a good look around the bike and even sat on one to check the size. This was in January 2024 and they were taking deposits for the bikes due to be delivered in June. As it turned out, the bikes arrived early and I collected mine during the first weekend in April. The handover was extremely easy and I'm looking forward to having the first service completed before the end of the month.

Overall experience was very good. My new Triumph arrived about 3 months earlier than I had been promised and they got it ready for the next day after arrival at the dealership, excellent.

The friendly atmosphere 1st names no pushing sales, this is the 3rd bike I have bought from Lings Ipswich. Jake and his staff are a very pleasant crew.

Also to the guy (sorry, can't remember his name) who delivered the bike from Ipswich to Maidstone by van for me, and wanted to be sure I was 100% happy with everything before he headed back.

Buying a bike from 200 miles away is never easy, but The Team at Lings were excellent in answering all my queries open and honestly with a genuine appraisal of the bike backed up with photos and videos. Consideration to me travelling so far to collect the bike was given and the bike was exactly as described if not better. After a couple of days the bike was prepared very very well and is an incredible machine. Overall an excellent experience in dealing with Lings and I would happily travel again to buy my next bike from them
