Head trainer Roger was excellent.

Excellent venue and great coaching

Been training at Lions of Judah for a few months now and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made. Roger and the team create an environment that’s welcoming without being soft. Good structure, proper technique focus, and no ego on the gym floor.
What sets it apart is the community feel. People of all ages and levels train side by side and there’s real encouragement across the board. As someone fairly new to boxing, I never felt out of place from day one.
The facilities are solid, the coaching is attentive, and the values behind the gym come through in how it’s run. Highly recommend to anyone in Bournemouth, whether you’re looking to compete or just get fit and build some confidence.

I was nervous about starting boxing as a total beginner, but Lions of Judah Boxing Academy is completely ego-free and welcoming. Roger is incredible—they break down complex footwork and punches into simple steps that actually make sense, ensuring your form is safe and sharp. You get a world-class workout without feeling intimidated or left behind. If you’re looking to start your journey, this is the perfect place to do it!

Roger is a very good boxing coach, knows his stuff

To get fit or keep a good level of fitness boxing is fantastic to do at any age, Roger and his team are so helpful and will always respect what you are able to do, this is the first boxing club where I've been made to feel at home, there are no ego's and everyone there is super friendly and will go out of there way to help you achieve your goals,I'm 57 year's old and really found that since I've been at this club I'm really enjoying boxing again, whatever you do don't let age be a barrier don't think about doing it get out there and do it you might suprise yourself

Roger is an extremely lovely guy and a great boxing coach, He takes his time with everyone and is genuinely interested in people, I cannot recommend his boxing club enough.

My kids first time boxing and so glad I took them , Roger was brilliant with them and they can't wait to go back .

Having stepped in many gyms this one has a lovely atmosphere not experienced before, encouraging, supportive and a space to thrive and to grow but above all else the mentality and warmth of coaches and members creates a special environment. Highly recommend

I train with Lions of Judah Boxing Academy and it’s been a brilliant experience so far. Roger, the head coach, is an outstanding trainer who clearly knows his craft and pushes you to improve every session. The coaching is structured and focused, and Roger takes the time to make sure your technique is right while still keeping the intensity high. You can tell he genuinely cares about developing his fighters and getting the best out of everyone in the gym.

Currently I am doing 121 sessions with Roger and he has been very flexible around time slots, which helps a lot with work and having a young baby at home. Highly recommend 121 training so start off with although I plan to do some of the group classes to for an extra fitness boost.

Training sessions have been varied and challenging — including bag work, pad work, skipping and conditioning — each workout leaves you feeling like you’ve made real progress. The atmosphere is motivating and professional, and Roger sets a great standard with lots of encouragement that makes you want to work harder each time you step in the gym.

I’d highly recommend Lions of Judah Boxing Academy to anyone looking to improve their boxing and fitness, and am glad to have finally found a solid boxing gym and coach to train with.

Really good atmosphere in the gym from coaches and other members. Coach knows what hes doing and is able to dedicate himself to each person and personalise sessions to help members reach their targets. Would definitely recommend this gym if your looking for a good coach and boxing gym.
