We booked a 6 week trip around the Rockies and through the Inside Passage to Vancouver Island.
We dealt with Luke who helped us plan and book the trip. He listened carefully to what we liked to do and also helped plan suitable excursions which were really exceptional. His arrangements worked perfectly and when there was a glitch (with the car hire firm) the company moved swiftly to sort it out. We have travelled twice before with the sister company Travelessence and all 3 of our trips have been fantastic.

We had already planned a short trip to Toronto to see RUSH and planned to also have a couple of days in Niagara-on-the-Lake when we decided to extend our trip and try and explore Ontario, but where to go, what to see?
Step forward Luke Northeast and Little Canada.
Right from our very first point of contact we knew putting our trust in this company was the way to go, their attention to detail, how they managed to extract from us what we wanted, at what level and how best to travel.
They put together a package of stops leaving Toronto and heading up to Tobermory, to Manatoulin and on into Algonquin, Ottawa and back round via the 1000 islands, Prince Edward County wine regions and finally back to Toronto.
Every stop gave us a taste of the regions at differing levels of accommodation, from B&Bs to self catered stays and hotels, each very different. Some on lake sides, some near towns but each with their own uniqueness and hosts that were so happy to meet you and offer their own knowledge of their personal regions.
Given that neither of us knew each other, the way they put our package together, then further tweeked it as we read more about each area, I would have to give them a near perfect score, the only reason I wouldn't say 100/100 is because, who ever manages that and anyone reading this review wouldn't believe it.
Trust me, if you've always fancied Canada, but just need that bit of help, you really couldn't beat them.
From our initial contact, to a great video presentation and final Zoom call to finese, they were great.
They will also obviously take you from the UK and arrange flights etc, we had already done this because of our original commitment, but they were still happy to work with us.
Try them, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Really supportive in building a fabulous itinerary based on experience and sound advice. Accommodation intimate and excellent. And highly responsive in the unlikely event that support is required. Our trip to Alaska exceeded our already high expectations thanks to Luke and the Little America team. We’ll definitely use them again for our next North America trip. Would definitely recommend.

Great Canadian BC/Alberta 3 week itinerary. Wonderful hotels and experiences selected for us. All hotels, ferries, experiences expected us when we turned up. Everything hassle and stress free. This is the third time we have used Travel Essence/ Little America for trips to Australia, New Zealand and Canada. They worked with us to tailor the holidays to meet our needs and all three holidays have been wonderful. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

Wow! We won this holiday to Eastern Canada and what a prize it turned out to be! After spending some time chatting with us about what we liked to do, Luke put a marvellous itinerary together -it encompassed our love of wine, walking and seeing new places. We asked for a mix of city and countryside and that’s what we got. We began in Toronto, which is a vibrant city, then travelled through a variety of locations by car. We dropped the car in Montreal and after a couple of days took the train to Quebec City to complete our adventure. Each location was different and each hotel along the way was unique and luxurious for different reasons. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Little America again if we decide to travel in Canada or the USA.

Might be called 'Little', the service and help they gave us in choosing our holiday in the Canadian Rockies was extensive. From initial phone call, 1hr video on what there is to visit and see, to proposal and personal discussion on options. The accommodation and the whole holiday was very enjoyable, we would do the whole four weeks all again! We are recommending Little America to all our friends.

Little America took all the stress out of planning a three week tour in the USA. They responded well to questions in the planning, and answered quickly when two queries arose while we were out there. All the accommodation bar one place was excellent - even the less favoured one was ok for one night. They took us to places we'd never have found so, essentially, they sorted out a holiday for us we'd never have done without them. We will be using Little America again.

Would highly reccomend Little America when considering a trip to the USA/Canada. We primarily dealt with Luke, who from the outset was great, enthusiastic and outlined a lot of things we would not have thought of or considered from our initial idea. The trip itself was just brilliant, some really incredible accomodations and the supporting documents and information you receive makes everything very easy to follow, a 5 star organisation.

We've just come back from a fantastic time visiting the Grand Canyon, canyons and national parks in Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Colorado. Their rep (Luke Northeast) was fantastic at sorting our itinerary, accommodation and flights (I'm not a good flyer!). We had ideas of where we wanted to visit, but Luke came up with excellent suggestions. The accommodation selected was excellent with very friendly and knowledgeable hosts. Luke changed one of our original B and Bs due to bad reports from previous clients and changed another due to the North Rim fire. We appreciated this level of interaction and attention to detail. We would certainly recommend them and would go to them again for any trips in future.

We wanted to travel to California, but needed advice about reasonable self-catering accommodation, route and activities. After approaching a few companies I fell upon Little America. From the outset Luke was terrific. He totally understood what we wanted and found us some gems. I am not telling you where we stayed in Yosemite National Park, but it was the highlight of our trip. I will let Luke and his team guide you the rest of the way. We had a terrific time.,

From the outset, Luke at Little America was fantastic to deal with. He really listened to what we wanted from our family holiday and created an amazing itinerary that simply wouldn’t have been possible without his experience and guidance. What stood out most was how Little America tailored the trip to keep us away from the usual crowds, giving us a much more authentic and memorable experience. We had an incredible three weeks in Canada as a family and the whole experience was fantastic. All the accommodations and activities were brilliant and suited to our needs. Even when we encountered an issue (nothing to do with the company), the supporting team were so easy to reach and gave us advice on what to do, which was great.

Luke put a huge amount of care and attention into the planning, really taking the time to understand what we were looking for. He was always available to answer questions in the run up to the trip as well.

Luke was very good to deal with and had great local knowledge of western Canada which made planning our 3 week trip very easy. All the arrangements worked as planned and we had an excellent trip.

The team at Little America couldn't have been more helpful with our family trip to the USA. From the start of the booking we were in regular contact with the team so that they could understand our needs and proposed itinerary. We were sent a brochure with recommended places to stay so we could approve before it was booked, and the suggestions were perfect for our needs. I wouldn't hesitate to use the company again for future holidays.

In the past we have always arranged our road trips to the USA ourselves, but after an online meeting with Luke, who patiently listened to all our likes and dislikes, it was just perfect to have everything arranged for us. Right from the start, it went like clockwork, the all inclusive car hire made picking up the car a breeze (no unwelcome commission seeking, hard sell at the desk) and the small, really individual accommodations were spot on with excellent service and comfort. We were often able to sit outside and watch the wildlife wander past or sit by the campfire and look out for a shooting star! Luke’s meticulous planning allowed us to explore so many National and State Parks effortlessly, we just had to follow his plan and everything fell into place!
Our 3 weeks just flew by. We loved it all.

My husband and I have just returned from a 3 week road trip through the western USA from San Francisco to Aspen. Luke advised us throughout and was attentive, thoughtful and put together a near perfect itinerary. He completely took on board our preferences and acted upon them and we have found our first Little America experience entirely satisfactory and have no hesitation in recommending them.

We came across Luke of Little America at a show in London. We had a nice conversation and he gave us some interesting tips to keep in mind when planning a trip through West-Canada.

A few weeks later we had an online appointment and we told Luke what we did and didn't want from the holiday and he mapped out a trip for us to chew over.
The trip was basically what we wanted and we booked shortly after that. A very good decision.

On the holiday itself we had a four fantastic weeks with wonderful variety and superb accommodation in guest houses, B&Bs & self catering.

Little America provides excellent bespoke service and their back office team and processes are first class.

We are very happy with our choice for Little America and can recommend it to anyone.
We are in touch already for another (USA) holiday in september 2024.

From the get-go the Little America team were great. We usually book our own holidays but fancied a tailored experience with the ease of not having to book everything ourselves. There was a hiccup with our car hire, that Little America have apologised profusely for, it wasn't their fault but unfortunately happened. Would 100% recommend these guys! They know what they're doing and do it well.
