Before I was even given the opportunity to see a contract, discuss the terms properly, or have a meaningful conversation with someone, my references were contacted to apparently determine whether I was legitimate or a scam. I was absolutely shocked and extremely upset by this.

What made the situation even more frustrating was that they were able to get ahold of me immediately. I was texting with someone named Justin, so there was no issue with contacting me directly.

In my opinion, this company seriously needs to reconsider how it handles privacy, communication, and respect for potential customers. If you can contact someone directly, why immediately involve their personal references before the person has even had an opportunity to review a contract or agree to anything?

To me, references should be used appropriately—for example, when there is a legitimate need to verify information or when someone has an outstanding payment and the company genuinely cannot reach them—not as an initial step before a customer has even had the opportunity to understand what they are agreeing to.

This entire experience was embarrassing, frustrating, and completely unnecessary. I expected professionalism and basic respect for my privacy, and unfortunately, that was not my experience.

Save yourself the embarrassment and think very carefully before dealing with this company. I would not recommend my experience to anyone.

Fast and easy. Always good when need extra cash

Said I was approved and that they would send me the funds once I signed the contract. I signed it and then didn't receive a response until later. They said they denied my application. I asked how I know that the contract I signed has been voided and they did not respond. Why would they send a contract if it was denied? Something doesn't seem right.

They have fast and great service. Application process was quick and easy and got my funds within an hour. Highly recommend them .

I have taken out two loans with LoanCare, and haven’t had any issues aside from the constant texts/ emails with arrangements In place. I was laid off from work, and made arrangements to make payments, which have since been paid off. I took out a second loan, which is also paid in full, but I was advised “The office is currently under renovations” and a reloan isn’t possible until it reopens- however, they do everything fully online and there is no record of an office in my province. Consumer Protection also advised they are not licensed to issue loans in my province, and to stay clear of them due to predatory practices for collection.

Excellent service, friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend it to anyone looking . James Is the best .

I paid my loan in full on July 27th via etransfer. It shows as it has gone through successfully in my account, but they're saying they didn't receive it. They asked for screenshots for proof - sent multiple and they just say to call the bank. Screenshots show that the payment has been posted to their account . My bank shows that. It's an issue on their end, but they are trying to get double the money from me.
