Fixed our door in the summer time then I had another issue so he came back and said it was something different again. The first job he had to replace the mechanism and it cost £210 which was fine but still very overpriced. Then when the door was sticking so he came back and told me it wasnt alined and this would only get worse and this would cause the mechanism to go again so I decided to let him sort it. However he did not inform me that it was simply drilling the catch a tiny big bigger so the door would latch, this took him less than 3 seconds and he charged me a further £60. I felt conned and really disappointed that I gave this company so much money and if the job was explained to me I definitely would not have gave this man more money for such a little job. I would definitely not recommend or use them again!

As stated we attended your home in the summer and replaced your mechanism. We explained everything about what was needed for the door to be in full working order and even took the time to show you the part in the magazine and how much it would cost before we carried out any work, therefore we did not over charge or con you, as you agreed the price before we completed the job. Everything was explained thoroughly and with the detail you have provided in your review, this shows we did discuss everything with you as the information provided is correct.
The second call out was nothing to do the work we had conducted previously, your door had swollen due to the change in weather causing it not being able to lock into position correctly and needed rectifying before it broke the part we had fitted, as we showed you on the day when the door was in the open position the mechanism was working perfectly. The cost we charged was the labour charge for us on the day and for us to fix the issue. This did not take ‘3 seconds’ as stated but we are sorry you feel that way.
Here at Locksafe Locksmiths we have provided you with a genuine service and always pride ourselves in offering the best prices we can for all customers. We as a company feel the review you have left is unfair, considering we talked you through the whole process, attended when we said we would and discussed any prices before conducting any work.

Excellent service
My Nan's carers called to say they couldn't get in to her house as the door wouldn't open from the outside. I contacted Locksafe; Jonathan was polite, understanding and very prompt. Communication was excellent (I live 100 miles away and could not get to Nan's to help), Jonathan responded quickly and professionally and was able to replace the faulty lock as he already had one in the van. Nan was happy and we were hugely relieved. Highly recommend

Phoned this morning as having problems with the lock on front door.
Jonathan came out within a couple of hours. Changed the lock and cut me an extra key.

Emergency Lock Out!

Called Jonathan on a Sunday/New Year's eve as lock had broken.
He said he would be there within the hour which he was, and lock was changed and additional keys given.

Waited 1hr and 25minutes for a pre booked appointment called them x6 times and sent messages progress chasing no phone call back very poor customer service.
Have received 2 very arrogant phone calls advising THEY are imposing a cancellation charge ‼️
I will be taking this matter further
