I worked with Adam to focus on accent softening and effective communication over a 15-week duration and had a great experience. Adam is a fantastic coach and helped me to understand and practice the principles of effective communication, but he also helped me build my confidence so that I was comfortable with my communication style. Where I got the most ROI from my time with Adam was in the constructive feedback. Adam was able to identify where I needed to focus my efforts and tailored the training around this which made a big impact on my progression in a short amount of time. From working with Adam I've seen a noticeable change in not only how I communicate with others, but also in how I show up in meetings and with clients. If you're considering working with the LSW I could not recommend them enough and I would 100% recommend Adam as a coach to anyone considering a similar course.

It all started with Adam Rhys-Charles. The best experience of learning and coaching sessions I ever had. Adam is a professional tutor with a relevant background, a high engagement level and an encouraging approach.
The structure of the programme is very straightforward forward with the focus on the most critical gaps.
The school's material supports the whole programme and can be used effectively for revisions even after the programme.

After taking a taster session I decided to go all in and have 10 consultation sessions. Professionally learning those skills required for presentations and even generally speaking to a wider group, I have really found it immensely rewarding and can really see the difference at work. I worked with Natasha whom was an immense fountain of knowledge and literally opened up the matrix of what it takes to produce a good presentation. Professionally the feedback I have received since my sessions have all been so positive. If you really want to improve and fine tune your skills it’s an investment you won’t regret

Emmy is a wonderful coach and teacher.
She is very inspiring, made me work hard but at the same time being understanding and gentle and finding the right level and exercises to help me.

I really enjoyed my 5 session with Ali. She was able to quickly pick up the areas I needed to work on and tailored the sessions around my needs.

The coaching pushed me out of my comfort zone in places (which is where you learn!) but always provided a safe environment to get it wrong and practice.

I've left the 5 sessions with some new skills and techniques and some key areas to continue working on and improving.

I completed 6 sessions with Ali Tennant-Price. I was looking for general help in how to use my voice more effectively. I also had some job interviews coming up and thought the sessions might help my confidence - they did!

Ali tailored the sessions specifically for me. They included: Delivery and vocal landscape.
Off the cuff work- focusing on keeping energy in the voice. Non-verbals (gesture and facial expression). Vocal expression and interview prep roleplay. Putting it all together.

I can honesty say, the sessions were eye-opening and fun. Ali is lovely and a great teacher. The most telling part of each session was the before and after. I could really hear the difference in my voice.

I took 12 sessions (accent softening) and it was a great experience - I definitely learned a lot and improved my English speaking skills. Kate Guest is a fabulous woman and a very experienced coach, I often booked an early morning session and it was such a great start of the day. I now have the tools to further develop myself and feel more confident. LSW follows up regularly (by mail or phone) and makes sure the admin is easy. Highly recommended!

I had a fantastic series of sessions with speech & vocal coach Tom Plenderleith at the London Speech Workshop. He explained the content and exercises for Effective Communication really well and gave concise and succinct feedback.

Tom’s sessions were fun and engaging, and he created a relaxing and friendly environment for me to ‘attempt’ off the cuff speaking which I had been really nervous about. The exercises we did to practice the frameworks and features of effective communication were fun and different.

As a result of working with Tom, I feel much more confident going into meetings and presentations at work, with the right tools and practice to help me not waffle and reduce the amount of times I say ‘um’!

One of the things that I appreciated most was Tom’s ability to make the content of our sessions relevant to my specific needs.
