The engraving quality is very clean and detailed. I also had an issue with the extension kit compatibility, but LONGER Support identified the controller version and immediately arranged the correct replacement cable. Their customer service has been very professional and responsive. TOP Service

This engraver is perfect for getting started with engraving (I have the 2.5W version):
- Everything comes pre-assembled in the box; you only need to screw on the laser head. You can be ready to engrave within 10 minutes of receiving the package.
- Powerful enough to engrave on almost anything: paper, cardboard, faux leather, aluminum, plexiglass, etc.
- I haven't tried cutting with it yet.
- Its compact size means it fits easily on a desk (you'll want a honeycomb bed underneath, or—in my case—a ceramic tile, which works perfectly).
- A great feature is that this engraver can be used with a PC and, more importantly, with a smartphone via the LaserBurn app. I mainly use my smartphone for my engraving projects.
- The engraver is set up and connected to my smartphone in just 5 minutes, making it easy to engrave whenever I want without a complicated setup process at home. It’s also super easy to take along to someone else's place without hauling around a ton of gear.
- Like any engraver, there’s a bit of a learning curve to get the settings right for the specific material (the smartphone app includes presets, but you may need to experiment a little depending on your needs or preferences—though that’s true for any engraver).

I ran into some issues with the initial Wi-Fi connection between the engraver and my smartphone, but I contacted support, and they were incredibly responsive and helpful (a huge thank you to Maria in particular for her responsiveness and dedication).

I highly recommend this engraver to anyone looking to get into engraving on a budget.

The service is excellent. My controller on/off button was working incorrectly. They repaced the controller box with a new switch. I had previous experiences with longer service people, and never had a problem, they are always willing to help and solve your problems. Keep up the good work.

Had a problem with having received an American power adapter and contacted Longer to request to purchase a UK on. the contacted within 48 As I contacted them over weekend so today a solution has been agreed. Brilliant service

I have purchased a couple of there lasers through the years, and they have performed without a doubt incredibly. One day I was creating a proof to show the customer and all of a sudden the laser became unresponsive. I contacted the support of Longer and with a day they had the answer that I needed to get back up running. These people are awesome to work with and they provide a great product that produces some fantastic artwork. I highly recommend Longer and their product line.

Love my Longer B1 30 watt it is my work horse it is not enclosed so make ready for taller items is easy. the working bed size is large. I needed support for a new cable they helped asap by phone and email.

This is our first experience with diode lasers and it's been fantastic so far, we're experimenting with different materials, engraving pictures and cutting wood, the RAY5 mini can do it all, I absolutely recommend giving it a try, there's so much fun to be had.

Having 3 Longer engraving products, 2 Longer B1 30w one the the 2w IR module and 1 Ray5 mini 5w, I have found them to be reliable and when there has been a problem, Longer has always been responsive wanting to help and resolve the problem. I have owned the b1 for several years and just added the Ray5 mini to the collection. I have bought multiple accessories through the Longer site and been extremely happy with everything I have bought.

This company is AMAZZIIINNNNNGGGGG!!!! I have been wanting to begin my laser engraving journey for years, but I could never find a company where the price matched the product. I bought the 20w ray5 machine off of Amazon, and it even came with a camera and air assist pump. Everywhere else, I had to purchase the camera and pump separately. Customer support will make you feel heard and comfortable. I had the pleasure of speaking with a Maria, who ensured I got whatever answer I needed. She’s an angel honestly, because I was asking a lot of questions, and she took the time to thoroughly explain things to me! She even gave me optional answers just in case! I can’t wait to see how much art I can create with this machine!

I have been using LONGER lasers from the 10 watt to the 40 watt and have had great performance. I have made many gifts for family and friends and it delivers it is way faster than the 10 and the air assist is a game changer. My limit switch assembly broke and I am in need for a new one. Please help.

I contacted them regarding a positioning issue with my Nano Pro laser engraver. Although the issue has not yet been fully resolved, their support team has been outstanding from start to finish.

Every email has received a prompt and helpful reply, my case was quickly escalated to their R&D team, and they have taken the time to review videos, photos, measurements and detailed testing that I have provided. Rather than dismissing the issue, they have worked with me step by step to investigate the cause and have continued providing updates and guidance throughout the process.
