I confess that it was a shot in the dark at first - I have researched online and on Instagram and reached out to various clinics. It is always a great risk when planning aesthetical procedures in foreign countries without any personal referral, but the Long Hair Center Istanbul team was very professional and attentive – always available to answer my questions.

When I was there in person, it was no difference from when we were connected online – I really felt safe and supported by an enormous team of professionals; from the drivers to the doctor, operating team and the interpret who was with me during all crucial times.

There were tho a couple hick-ups post-surgery which were not that big of a problem now that I look back but generated unnecessary stress. I returned for a second procedure and was amazed to witness their capability to adapt and address the issues occurred from an overall process point of view, for all patients.

It’s been six months I have done my hair transplant with Long hair clinic under the supervision of Dr.Ahmet and his crew. I am so much happy and fully satisfied with procedure and their service. had my hair transplant here and the experience has not been the best. Transplant done on my hairline and crown area in Jan 2023. It is now Dec 2023 and my crown has not grown any new hair. I have lots of bumps all over the transplanted areas and they bleed occasionally. I reported this to the Rep who I have been in contact with and asked him to speak with the doctor. he did not allow me to speak directly with the doctor- instead he simply told me to go see a dermatologist. All I will say is do your due diligence before going here. don't listen to people who did transplant few weeks ago who said its "great". on average, it takes around 6-10months to start seeing real results. it's been 11 months for me and so far my crown area has little to no new hair and bumps/blisters all over head. Also, just so you know- the doctor is not the one who actually does the procedure. He has assistants (not doctors) who does it and he checks in from time to time. I didn't know this prior to my surgery. just my honest review, good luck!

I was accommodated in a 5-star hotel, which helped alleviate some of the stress associated with the procedure.
A driver from the clinic kindly transported me to the reputable clinic, after I had paid an online deposit of 200 euros.
Everything gets suspicious when you get off.. not at the clinic, but at a hospital – Avrasya Hastanesi, a facility with notably negative reviews, often referred to as an Istanbul “money factory”. Their procedures are performed at this hospital, as their own clinic seemed to function primarily as a place for post-procedure hair washing, close to a beauty salon.

The adventure began.
I had received a confirmation via WhatsApp that the doctor would play a significant part in the intervention. However, the significant parts were: smiling, taking my money (cash - with a pdf receipt), drawing the hairline and pushing a syringe needle in my vein (that stayed there for 3 hours, till intervention ended).
He also assured me by: "you'll be treated like a VIP". He never mentioned he will not perform the procedure.
After this 2 people shaved 80% of the back of my head for the donor area, 3 nurses injected me the painful anesthetic, and then another character appeared.
He was supposed to be “my doctor”. Regrettably, his actions were far from professional. He exhibited little interest in listening me, appearing more focused on watching the clock. For the next 3 hours, he engaged in conversation with the nurses (in Turkish, of course). Every time he replied, he was also stopping the implantation. To make it worse, my eye became his left hand support. He pressed his hand forcefully against my forehead or my eye, that I began to wonder if I might end up with an eye implant as well.
As for the doctor owning this trustable clinic - I looked on the different university sites in Istanbul, his name isn’t listed, none of these persons have real medical studies.

My desire was: A natural, zig-zag hairline along with increased frontal density. Unfortunately, I just received a bad superficial job.
They shaved and extracted healthy follicles from a huge backside area, and the implanted area is.. about a few centimetres with few grafts on the crown of the head. I am beginning to suspect that follicles might have been surreptitiously taken as well.

Yesterday I visited my doctor, she was even more disappointed than me. She closely watched the implant with a trichoscope. She discovered that the first line of implanted grafts contain up to three hairs per follicle – an approach appropriate for the crown area, rendering an unnatural appearance unsuitable for frontal hairline. Un unnatural hairline for laterals too that will soon make me look like a panda too.
Certainly, the clinic will likely respond by claiming that the hair has not yet fully grown. But the hair you'll see at one month is essentially the hair you are left with – no magical additional growth will occur.
My doctor also expressed her dissatisfaction with the harsh extraction process used in the donor area. The scars are evident and will remain, forever leaving me with an area of scarce hair, at the back of my head.

Shall I mention the post-procedure pain? The pain following the intervention is excruciating. Even after one month, I still experience intense discomfort at the top and back of my head, a constant headache, particularly when resting on a pillow. Like a cracked skull.

In an attempt to "rectify" the situation, I messaged the clinic expressing my intention to seek a refund of half the procedure cost, which amounted to 2500 euros. Their fast response was this is not aligned with their policies and, therefore, was not an option.

Thank you for the experience, Long Hair Center! The evidence of your efforts is clearly captured in the photos I posted as a Google review, but you immediately flagged them.
If anyone is interested in an Istanbul hair implant (Istanbul became the Global Capital of the Hair Transplant), maybe you should think twice. Don’t be fooled by paid reviews, the nice interpreters, hotel, drivers, we just want a good quality hair intervention.

Want to know the irony? In the end I received a “guarantee diploma” that says 3000 grafts were implanted.

I had my second hair transplant 10 days ago with Long Hair Center and I really wish, I had had my first one with them too. Dr. Ahmet and his team were very professional, competent and I felt that I was in good hands with them. I had a hard time choosing the right clinic and on my search I was swamped with lots of big clinics that did a lot of marketing. It took me almost one months to figure out what are red-flags in the area of hair transplat clinics and what are the essential criteria for a good clinic. One of the reasons I picked Long Hair Center out of thousands of clinics was, that they are one of the few clinics that only do one surgery a day and the doctor does it himself (my first surgery was in a big clinic in istanbul where the doctor had 45 surgeries a day, only shook my hand and draw the hairline with a pen). Another reason was, they had very fair prices and they dont charge you extra in case they find more hair to transplant (most other clinics do!). They told me, they just work until they think it will be the best possible result (again, hard to find in other clinics). During my surgery, the tranlator was there the entire time in the same room (which gets promised by other clinics too, such as my first clinic, but rarely happens in reality for financial reasons). And last but not least, and thats something I couldnt know before picking this clinic: Dr. Ahmet and his team are very respectful and welcoming, it almost seemed from the outside like they are a family. One of the translators I had my initial contact on whatsapp with, even came on her day off just to say hello, pay me a visit and asking me how I was.
Okay, having said that, back to the bare facts why else I would recommend this clinic:
- perfect organisation (pick-up from th airport, hotel, surgery, medication and follow-up consulation)
- a fair price
- a very satisfying outcome so far (compared to my first surgery at another clinic)
- and a very friendly and engaged team of nurses and translators and a really good doctor!

I would recommend the clinic to everyone! :)

I am delighted how the whole procedure went at the Long Hair Center clinic in Istanbul.
A few months ago, my friend went there for a transplant and his experience there was wonderful. In my case, everything went smoothly as well, and the whole procedure was flawless. Even before I arrived in Istanbul, Dr Ahmet and his assistant Vakar were always there for me to answer all the questions about hair transplantation. I arrived in Istanbul and an interpreter from the team Berhan waited for me. He was extremely helpful and ensured that everything before and after the procedure went smoothly. The procedure went great and was painless. I was so relaxed during the procedure that at one moment, I even fell asleep. The days following the procedure, I did not even take any painkiller. It has been a week now after the transplant, and my scalp is recovering fast.
I am looking forward to sharing the post-op results soon.

My experience going to Turkey for a hair transplant with longhair clinic, was absolutely amazing, every single staff member and the whole team were amazing along with the wonderful Dr Ahmet and his fiance Dr Herra Who both carried out the surgery along with two nurses as well and up till now everything they promised, they have delivered and I am very grateful and I recommend this whole team 200%.
But everything will fall in place once I can see the success of this transplant in the near future so I am optimistic but waiting for the end result now.

I had my hair transplant at long hair clinic with Dr Ahmet Yildrim and I must say I am so happy and super satisfied with the service. From the moment i arrived at the airport both the translator and driver where waiting for me, they took me to the hotel which was lovely 5* service. The day of the surgery they picked me up and took me to the clinic where I had a consultation with Dr Yildrim and he explained step by step the process and how the day would plan out. During the surgery they were very reassuring and professional.
Once the surgery finished they took me back to the hotel and the next day they picked me up to take me to the revision appointment where they washed my head and explained all the steps I must take to look after my newly implanted hair, I was taken on the last day to the airport and dropped off.

I want to share my wonderful experience with Long Hair Center from Istanbul. I was a professional fashion model and I started losing my hair long time ago. Hair is very important for me, so I was looking for the best clinic for myself. After a long research, I got so many offers from so many clinics. Something told me that I need to search more until I found Long Hair Center and Dr. Ahmet Yildirim. That was the only clinic and a doctor that gave me full trust. Communication was incredible. Everything was explained to me and Dr. Ahmet was the only doctor who wanted to have skype call with me before I said yes to this clinic. So far, I don't regret my decision. They welcomed be at the airport and took me to a 5-star hotel. The day after, they picked me up and took me to the hospital. All staff were so friendly, cooperative and the most important professional. I felt I was at home. The surgery went perfectly smooth and unless small pain at the beginning, during anesthesia, I didn't feel anything. Everyone gave their best and I could feel that. After the surgery they took me back to the hotel and explained me everything I needed to know. The day after, they took me to the hospital, removed my bandages and washed my hair. After that they thoroughly explained me what should I do and took me to the airport. It's been 5 days after the procedure. I feel great, no pain at all, everything is healing perfectly. They are still in contact with me, following my condition. I can't wait to see my results, but I feel that I will get all my hair back. I will post a picture after some time so you can see the result.

1 year ago, I went to Turkey from Korea to have a hair transplant.
I have visited many hair hospitals for interviews and surgery estimates in Turkey.
Among them, I chose this longhaircenter.

I had a 3,500 hair follicle hair transplant from him.
Anesthesia/Hair Collection/Hair Transplantation/Bandage are all performed by one doctor.
Now I am satisfied and it was a good choice.

Not bad price and the excellent skills and enthusiasm of the doctor.
5 stars is not a waste.
