So, I treated my dog to some “luxury” dining and ordered one tin of the turkey and one tin of the lamb from Loonawell. At 49 CHF a tin I naively assumed I was getting a box. Nope. Turns out I just paid almost 100 francs for TWO CANS of dog food. Bargain of the century, right?

But wait, it gets better. My dog – who normally eats anything – wouldn’t touch it. Not plain, not with cheese, not with bribery. Nothing. He looked at me like I was punishing him.

To be fair, it looks nice enough… if you’re feeding a vegetarian rabbit. Lentils, potatoes, carrots – sure, but where’s the meat? Dogs are carnivores, not hipsters on a plant-based cleanse. Real dog food should be 70–80% meat. This stuff? More like a lentil stew with a hint of turkey.

So yeah: overpriced, under-meaty, and apparently disgusting to actual dogs. 0/10 from my pup, 1 star from me because I can’t give zero.

I got the Berry Bee supplement after my dog's surgery. The vet recommended it for immunity boosting and recovery so she doesn't get any infections. Totally worth it and so easy to use. I just spray it on the food I give her and I can tell the difference.

£1,113 per week to feed a small terrier and medium Staffy a product that contains only 19% deer meat & 11% deer offal…?
£53.02 per 400g tin is outrageous.
The owner replied stating I was ‘offensive’ & ‘not liking’ her food when I queried the ingredients/price.
It is a shame as the food and ethos actually sounds lovely.
Never at any point did I say ‘I didn’t like it’.
Even if I were a billionaire, I still feel it’s morally wrong to spend this amount on dog food when people the world over are going hungry.
To do so would be truly offensive, in my opinion and I am permitted one without being accused by the disgruntled owner.

The best dog treats I’ve found in the market. My wife only wants human grade products in our house since we have a baby that puts everything in her mouth and you can tell that the the quality of these treats is top notch, I’ve tried them myself haha. My dog goes crazy for them so we plan on sticking to these treats.

My dog is in love with the super foodies! Ironically I had thought she would go for the beef or salmon ones (which she also goes for) but it’s the blueberries which are the best! We use those as high value reward treats for training and they are amazing. 😍

Die Leckerli sind unglaublich gut! Zudem sind die Säckchen unglaublich praktisch, ich habe immer eines in meiner Tasche, damit ich immer eines bereit habe für meinen Hund. Ich bin zudem echt überrascht vom Geschmack; wir haben das Health Glow bestellt und die riechen echt gut und mein Hund liebt sie. Zudem finde ich es super toll, eine lokale Marke zu unterstützen. Somit mein Daumen hoch für LOONAWELL und ich hoffe, dass ihr bald neue Produkte auf den Markt bringt!

Ich habe das Salmon Delight gekauft, da ich auf Qualität und Bioprodukte auch für meine Hunde viel Wert lege. Ich bin es deswegen gewöhnt etwas höhere Preise für gute Qualität zu zahlen.

Das Produkt hat mich aber doch etwas negativ umgehauen.

Man bekommt ledigtlich 40 g in einer Verpackung (Karton) rund um 16 CHF, das ist das eine, was ich auch vorher hätte checken können. Das andere, die ganze Verpackung hat mehr Verpackungsmüll als Leckerchen. Es sind in dem Karton 10 kleine Standbodenbeutel, mit Alu oder PVC Beschichtung, einem Kleber drauf und in jeder dieser Verpackung 5-6 kleine Kekse.

Ich fühle mich wirklich getäuscht, wobei ich es auch besser hätte lesen müssen, aber die Werbung und Verpackung ist tatsächlich eine Kundenverarschung.

Das Gute, die Kekse schmecken meinen Hunden. Es hat aber auch bis auf Bio Zutaten keinen Zusatzstoff drin, der diese Preise für mich rechtfertigt.

Das so ein Business funktioniert, wundert mich.
