It is an occult organisation!!
It is a waste of your money. It is an occult organisation which tries to tie you into a satanic circle under the cover of cognitive training. They are implementing really bad impressions into the mind, and are doing occult things at the end of the 4-day program. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!
depraved company
depraved company, taking advantage of people in need!
The course was a joke, brain-fast-food that fades out
The course was too fast to comprehend. I felt like a hotdog in a hotdog factory , being placed on a conveyer belt thinking that at the end result I will be able to remember things as promissed. it was pure BS, what they are good at is creating a momentum where there is a lot of positive energy but it doesn't mean it will translate to everyone , actually it just feels shallow like a belief in a cult.
Thieves!
Thieves dont sign up with them!! They lure you in with the lies and the glitz and glam. When it comes to it they dont respond to your emails. They are not governed by an ombudsman body and when people fall on hard life circumstances like Domestic Violence or long term sickness, like I have. They refuse a refund and ignore your emails. Terrible and unethical
If its too good to be true then its too good to be true.
5 STARS ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!
One of the best things I’ve ever done in my life! I would recommend this course to absolutely EVERYONE! As long as you’re prepared to listen very well and stay OPEN and CURIOUS. I initially signed up to help improve my memory, reading speed and focus. But the fourth aspect of the course, the one I had overlooked about self improvement/self love/acceptance is probably the one I needed the MOST!
I can’t thank the course leaders Yousuf and Francesca (I love you both SO very much) and all the wonderful facilitators enough THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU all from the bottom of my heart. You all put your absolute EVERYTHING into this and it can be seen so very clearly, every minute of this 4 day intensive program and beyond!
I look forward to seeing you all again very soon!
All of my love,
Patrick. xxxxxxxxx
A turning point
I am Eleanor, a practising veterinary surgeon. I took the programme to reduce my procrastination, improve focus and clarity and shift some internal emotional blocks that have been holding me back. On a practical note, amongst other things, my reading speed has vastly improved. I can easily remember a 20 digit number (or more) and in the last 2 days since completing the course I've memorised 60 Spanish words (a language i previously knew nothing of).
I've always known there were internal blocks that restricted my potential. I've tried lots of things...therapy/dyads/ayhuasca to name a few and each time I've still felt my self conscious mind block me from releasing. Lovebrain has tangibly shifted something. I've left feeling more assured and authentic and this time I can tell that I have the tools to build on this feeling and continue the forward and upward motion. I'm very grateful to the whole fantastic team.
Yousuf and Francesca glow. They are inspirational and the energy they give to these sessions is incredible. I'm actually struggling to find the words to describe the dynamism and assuredness of these individuals. They are so generous with their time, effort and energy. On paper the sessions sound long but once there, they fly by. Both Francesca and Yousuf are the most engaging speakers you will come across, keeping our attention fully throughout. The facilitators are wonderful, keeping us held and safe and supporting us when needed. A wonderful team. The course feels like a true turning point in my life and I can't wait to write another review in a few months when I've built on the tools I have now....one which I fully expect to be even more glowing. I am truly blessed and grateful to have experienced this and if you get the opportunity to do the course, grab it with both hands. You will thank yourself.....
Serious ethical and neuroscientific concerns about Lovebrain’s methods
I am writing this review as someone with formal training in neuroscience and psychology, and as the partner of someone who has recently completed this course.
Whilst the techniques taught on the course are presented as advanced “brain training,” in reality they consist largely of BASIC , widely known cognitive and mnemonic strategies that are FREELY available in textbooks and introductory neuroscience or psychology resources. Charging ~£5,000 for this content alone raises SERIOUS questions.
However, my primary concern is not the price and the fact they’re ripping folk off - it’s the safety and ethics.
After returning from the course, my partner has displayed significant changes in thinking , behaviour and emotional processing that are deeply worrying. He has repeatedly described being instructed to:
• Imagine himself as already dead
• Reframe all past experiences as entirely his own fault
• Reinterpret personal history through a lens of personal blame?!
These are extreme psychological interventions, not learning techniques.
From a neuroscience and clinical psychology perspective, this is dangerous for several reasons:
1. Trauma-evoking techniques without clinical containment
The course appears to deliberately activate emotionally charged memories and unresolved trauma, a process known in clinical settings to destabilise individuals if not handled correctly. In regulated therapy, trauma exposure is conducted gradually, with informed consent, continuous assessment, and follow-up care.
Here, trauma is provoked intensely over a few days and participants are then sent away with no psychological aftercare. This is not evidence-based practice - it is downright reckless.
2. Use of suggestibility and altered cognitive states
Extended hours, emotional intensity, social pressure, and authority figures create a state of heightened suggestibility. Neuroscience research shows that under such conditions, people are more likely to internalise beliefs uncritically.
When this is combined with messaging about personal fault, ego death, or rebirth, it closely resembles coercive persuasion techniques, NOT education.
3. Identity destabilisation without support
Encouraging people to dismantle their sense of self (“everything until now is your fault”, “imagine you are dead”) can be profoundly destabilising, particularly for individuals with underlying anxiety, depression, or past trauma - whether disclosed or not.
Licensed clinicians are trained to recognise when this destabilisation becomes harmful. There is no indication that course facilitators have the clinical qualifications required to do so safely.
4. Lack of professional accountability
The methods being used fall squarely into territory that would normally require:
• Clinical training
• Ethical oversight
• Safeguarding protocols
• Clear referral pathways for participants in distress
None of these appear to be present. Teaching cognitive techniques is one thing; conducting deep psychological interventions is another entirely.
5. Real-world harm
The impact of this course did not end in the seminar room. It followed my partner home and into our relationship. Sudden belief shifts, emotional volatility, and rigid ideological thinking after a four-day course are not signs of healthy learning - they are warning signs.
This course goes far beyond “brain training.” It employs psychologically intense methods that risk emotional harm, particularly in vulnerable individuals, while being delivered by people who do not appear adequately trained to manage those risks.
From a neuroscience and ethical standpoint, this is deeply troubling. Education should empower people - not destabilise them, blame them, or leave them psychologically exposed without support.
I would strongly caution anyone considering this course to question not only the cost, but the safety, qualifications, and ethical framework behind it.
If you do your research and don’t just go by their website you’ll see it’s rather culty / money grabby , though I’d say that’s the least of it .
Irresponsible and dishonest course that benefits some at the cost of others
I hate leaving bad reviews and feel genuinely sad to write this given that I liked most people at this company. However, I think it's important people are aware what they are getting/not getting in return for £2500.
Firstly, what you are not getting are the memory results guaranteed in the masterclass/sales pitch. The test you take at the end of the 3 day course is severely rigged to make it significantly easier (multiple choice answers and multiple chances to have staff whisper in your ear if you can't remember a word - turning it into a very simple recognition test). This is the ONLY reason everyone gets 100%.
What you are also not getting is cutting edge neuroscience as claimed at the masterclass. The lead guy has an undergrad in neuroscience and the lead woman has no qualifications beyond school. The 'cutting edge memory neuroscience' you pay £2500 for is actually well known memory tricks taken from a book written in the 80s you can buy for a few pounds, as others have pointed out in their reviews. You will also learn some half decent, basic self-development exercises you can learn elsewhere for a fraction for the cost,
I had signed up wanting actual cutting edge ways to improve my memory as I don't have any memories of my mum since suffering PTSD from her death. You could say that's my mistake for not asking if that would be covered, but I believed I would learn cutting edge memory neuroscience and also believed they had a 5* trustpilot score as advertised on all their posters (they didn't, and you have to question why they would lie about a 4.7* rating...).
When I told the main guy that the techniques they taught were not at all what I'd come for, he seemed to be very kind and said if I still wasn't happy with the course at the end they would give me my money back. I believed him cos he seemed like a genuine guy.
However, after the course I was told he was too busy for a few months (fair enough) and after about 9 months he eventually agreed to meet for coffee to discuss my concerns. I agreed, but when I tried to confirm date and location, my messages no longer delivered and never have since. I probably wouldn't have left this review if he'd seemed at all interested in my feedback, honoured his offer to refund me, or even just had the decency to tell me he didn't want to meet me. Any of those things are what a reasonable adult would do. What kind of leader ghosts people they've agreed to meet to avoid facing basic feedback for a course they charged £2500 for...?
This lack of accountability or integrity was unfortunately a pattern I saw throughout the course. I second other peoples comments about the course leaders dismissing the work of psychotherapists and other similar professionals. I saw that a lot both to others and to myself.
They admit they intentionally trigger people's trauma (based on a written personal history you give them), yet no one is remotely qualified to be doing such things. One girl was visibly traumatised after being pushed to reveal serious childhood abuse in front of 120 people. Later, I saw her and checked to see if she was ok. She told me I was the first person to ask and that none of the staff had spoken to her afterwards. This is unbelievably irresponsible, yet sadly in keeping with a course ethic that thinks it's ok for unqualified people to trigger 120 people's trauma without a single qualified therapist on site.
Despite all of these concerns (and I have more), a lot of people do seem to get a lot out of the course. I don't think they are bad people - in fact I genuinely liked the guy who runs it at the time. I think he means well but also knows he is being dishonest and doesn't want to face it. Good intentions but irresponsible and lacking accountability and integrity. Sadly, there will be some real costs to some people who attend.
If you're happy to pay £2500 for some entry level self-development that does go on for quite a long time, and some tricks you could learn from a book that costs a fiver on amazon, then you might get a lot out of it. If you're already decades into self-development and looking for cutting edge neuroscience or deep introspection held by people with qualifications and capacity to do so, then save your money and time.
Brilliant online immersive course
I just finished the online immersive course with LoveBrain and so pleased I found this course.
The initial Masterclass with Abby Clarkson was brilliant and her direct, human approach was the reason I signed up.
I was initially concerned that Lovebrain is just another motivational/overly hyped sales pitch but Francesca and Yousuf are simply very real/direct (and funny) and clearly care deeply about giving people the memory and learning tools we should have all been taught in school. They are both very focused on ensuring everyone comes out of the program with lasting effect to ensure we are able to truly convert and use the techniques in our daily lives. The course is therefore part science, part self development and I can see that this might not be for everyone. But coming into this with a very open mind and being prepared to step out of my comfort zone definitely helped and I cant wait to get started with putting everything to use. I now know it isn't too late to develop my cognitive skills after all (Im 46), I feel more confident than I have in a long time and I finally found the tools I needed to unlock my full potential.
I am so glad I gave this course a go and only wish I had found you guys much sooner. Thanks for all your hard work.
I attended a session with Love Brain
I attended a session with Love Brain, co‑founded by Yousef Aslam and Francesca. Francesca introduced practical techniques to improve memory and learning speed, which I found genuinely useful and applicable. Her part of the programme was constructive and supportive.
However, I had serious concerns about the session led by Mr Aslam. He shouted loudly through a microphone while participants wore headphones to release their inner child, which felt overwhelming and pressured rather than empowering. He also dismissed counselling and psychotherapy as inferior, while at the same time using similar methods without success. In my view, this approach did not reflect ethical or professional standards. Therapeutic work should be grounded in respect, empathy, and psychological safety, which I did not experience here. Participants were placed under undue pressure, which encouraged obedience rather than authentic choice. Mr Aslam often referred to his degree in neuroscience and biology, but academic credentials alone do not guarantee effective or ethical practice. In my experience, his methods lacked the respect, safety, and professionalism.
While some aspects of the programme may be beneficial, I would caution others to consider carefully whether this style aligns with their wellbeing.
Another thing I would like to mentioned that I observed. Sometimes people create “new methods” by repackaging existing therapeutic practices with a dramatic twist. The danger is when they strip away the safeguards—like informed consent, gentle pacing, and respect for vulnerability—and replace them with intensity or charisma. That can cause harm rather than healing.
My experience left me feeling scammed
My experience left me feeling that the service is not well-suited for people who may be in vulnerable situations, including those like myself who are actively working on memory support.
After attending, I felt the value I received did not match the cost. The article from The Observer (just google on them) reflects many of the concerns I personally experienced.
I recommend reading independent reviews of the company rather than relying solely on ratings on Google Reviews or Trustpilot.
I think this is a scam
I think this is a scam. Yes they teach you to increase your reading speed, yes they teach you to memorise more but these things can all be taught by reading a book e.g. 'Limitless' by Jim Kwik. Listen to me and SAVE YOUR MONEY!! Also the hours are incredibly long.
This has been the best learning…
This has been the best learning experience I’ve ever had. The course is a rollercoaster for the mind, body, and emotions—it takes you apart and then puts you back together as a happier, stronger, and better human being. I sincerely hope it continues to grow from strength to strength and touches as many lives as possible. Yousuf, Francesca, and their entire team are truly the bee’s knees! I cannot recommend this course highly enough.
Very much in 2 minds...
Very much in 2 minds about this entire experience.
The course may be beneficial, but the sales and marketing techniques, psychological and emotional manipulations and some condescending attitudes became intolerable, and I decided to pull out after day 1.
The very high price of this course is also not justified, in my opinion.
As per promises from the start, participants who are dissatisfied after day 1, will be refunded in full.
I will update my review pending the refund.
Essentially, I signed up on the day of the Masterclass, to benefit from the 50% discount on the very high price, and as I really needed some robust support at the time. A week later I, after some rethinking, i called the company and attempted to cancel, but was convinced to try at least Day 1, and the promise of getting money back if that proved unsatisfactory.
In my opinion, whilst the Masterclass was very interesting, Day 1 of the course has a completely different, and very irritating tone, which I was not prepared to sit through for 3 more days, especially at such a price.
Final anecdote: At very end of Day 1, at almost 11pm, we were told that not everyone would make it through the entire 4day course, as the team may deem some people unsuitable.
So we were all to check our phones in the morning, BEFORE setting off for Day 2, for a potential message from the team, telling some of us we were dismissed. And the importance of checking for such a message, in order to 'avoid the embarrassment of being turned away in the morning'.
But no mention at all that some of these 'absences' might be due to people voluntarily leaving the course.
Make of that what you want. I found this to be quite dishonest, but also manipulative, inducing fears of rejection for some people. Not good.
UPDATE Sept 2025: I did get a full refund for the course, as promised.
I had a call from a manager, asking for the reasons I pulled out, but generally it was accepted.
I am also due to write a full review for the entire team, where I will highlight my main concerns and irritations.
Cost comparison: I have since done a 5 day course (science, not self-development), which cost £240, and included basic sandwich lunch every day. It was a not-for-profit organisation, and meeting room was free of charge, but regardless, I think the fee of Lovebrain is insanely inflated and unjustified.
Phenominal training
I'm an IT professional. At some point last year, I felt my memory and cognitive focus were not functioning optimally. I accidentally came across Lovebrain on Instagram and I thought I had nothing to lose registering for the free Masterclass the same weekend. Before the end of the Masterclass, I was literally sold and I registered for the 4-day intensive training course straightway.
Before end of the course, my reading skills, memory cache and my cognitive focus were evidently improved. I got a lot more than I bargained for!
I was able to memorise and recall 20 random words, improve my reading speed from a mere 135 wpm to 551 wpm and getting better by the day. For me, these were outstanding achievements I would never have dreamed of in a lifetime.
I'm now equipped with all the necessary tools I need. In addition, I felt I was on a deeply spiritual journey of unlocking the infinite and limitless capacity of my brain and believing more in myself. This is an experiential journey I will never forget and would recommend to anyone who is interested in maximising their self-awareness and self-growth.
The combination of Yousuf and Francesca was phenomenal. I wish these 2 people knew how much they're impacting the world. The supporting team were remarkably outstanding. To mention a few - Hira, Peggy, Sydney, Wictoria and many more.. "Thank You!!"
I attended this brilliant Masterclass…
I attended this brilliant Masterclass online in the postcovid era. It provided me with amazing tools to improve my memory and reading, work on my well-being and communication. I had an honour of witnessing the success of other participants as well over the years. Although my personal success was slow in development, the course offered a continuous support and reset my values and believes as well. I’m incredibly grateful for this beautiful community of highly motivated individuals who keep evolving, examining, searching and helping others to achieve their best selves.
Horrendously pushy marketing team that…
Horrendously pushy marketing team that called me at work and then basically asked a lot of personal questions and then they said I only had a 3 day grace period to cancel once I paid the first installment. They seem to latch on to whatever insecurity and then explain how their course will alleviate that for you. In my case, it was my intense university course.
Feels very culty-preachy pseudo-scientific. Not worth anybody's time and money and I hope this scam gets outed soon. If you click on the one star reviews, you'll see people explaining that even the 5 star reviews are done immediately after some sort of vulnerable meditation period. All in all, highly manipulative company and will probably have a Netflix documentary about it eventually.
Scammy Overpriced and pushy sales with little to no value- NOT Recommended
I do NOT recommend this course. It's way too expensive for what you get. You can find the same information easily online for free or very cheap. They push you hard to buy with big promises and fake urgency, making it seem more valuable than it is.
Additionally for anyone with PTSD and depression it's Dangerous. They don't seem to care about people's safety, just making quick money.
A stunning investment in you
A stunning investment in you! What’s not to love about lovebrain?
As a teacher of 25 years I was apprehensive about attending yet another course for 6 hours straight but the time flew by.
The course was jam packed with engaging content, easy to understand knowledge and practical techniques all backed by science.
Francesca and Yousaf presented lovebrain with passion, knowledge, warmth and humour.
The in-depth course may sound expensive but the quality makes it worth every penny, twice over.
The personalisation and the support on offer make lovebrain a practical tool for effective, faster learning and better understanding, focussed on your needs.
I was left smiling, very satisfied and wanting everything lovebrain can give.
Taking the Love Brain Excellent course…
Taking the Love Brain Excellent course has truly been a life-changing experience. Before starting, I often struggled with memory and focus. But this course opened up a whole new world for me. The techniques and insights provided were not only easy to understand but also incredibly effective.
Since completing the course, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my ability to remember things—whether it’s daily tasks, names, or even complex information. It’s like my brain has been given a boost, and I feel more mentally sharp and confident.
I highly recommend Love Brain Excellent to anyone looking to improve their memory, focus, and overall mental clarity. It’s more than just a course—it’s a powerful tool for personal growth and transformation.
