I've placed a good few orders now with Lovecrafts, no issues at all, in fact their customer services proactively reached out to me when I had been charged An Post customs fees in error due to a mistake by Royal Mail (I actually hadn't realised the order was already Duty Paid so didn't contact Lovecrafts about it) and arranged an immediate refund of the fees.
Great choice of yarns, good prices, quick delivery and regular discounts / sales.
Very impressed with both sales and service.

My Yarn Shop went out of business in a hurricane. I lost all the data as my laptop and paper copies were totally destroyed. I’m relied on companies to help me out. Lovecraft’s never fulfilled my order and never got back to me to help out. When I was able to track the order and reach out to them, they said it had been too long and couldn’t help me with anything I paid for the order and I deserve to have some satisfaction. All I get is generic answers that do not apply to my problem. I will advise all my customers to never do business with this company again.
UPDATE:
All I had to go on was my account information which showed, and still shows, the order not sent. I also emailed and called and was told nothing could be done. After I posted the above review, LoveCrafts finally contacted me and said they delivered what they could and charged me accordingly. I will accept their word on this, but due to the lack of initial customer service will only raise my review 2 points.

There was a slight error, on my side when changing the delivery address. Kate and the Love Craft team were very patient with me waiting for the correct address and also a change in the one wool colour.
Thank you for your patience and for sorting my order out. This was finally closed on 01/04/2024.

I really love the paintbox yarns,but the restocking time is pushing me to look at other businesses for future yarn purchases. I was trying to finish a sweater in October 2024 and ended up being a ball or 2 short, and the yarn was out of stock. It still is and every time I reach out to customer service, they push it 3 months out from Janaury to then March and now to June with the possibility of a longer delay. It shouldn't take a year to restock one type of yarn.

Royal Mail returned my items to sender saying my delivery address was incorrect. I spoke to an agent on chat to say how urgently I needed my items and confirmed with them that the delivery address was correct. They refused to resend my items until they had spoken to Royal Mail, even though I provided proof that they returned to sender and they could also check for themselves via the tracking number that Royal Mail had sent this back and advised that this could take two business days to receive a response from them. I then phoned hoping to get a better response to the poor customer service I received, who then told me the same, pretty much made me feel like I had lied about my address! This was my first order with this company and now I feel like I’ve been scammed! I told them I wanted a refund but they’ve told me that this will take 3-5 business days. So, instead of just resending my order having confirmed my address is correct with them, and having taken the day off work to wait for my order to be delivered today, they want to inconvenience me further by making me wait 2 business days for a response from Royal Mail (even though I provided proof that it had been returned back to sender and they could’ve checked themselves at that time via the tracking number), or wait 3-5 business days for a refund. The Customer service is non existent - I just wanted my items before I went away on holiday and now it looks like I won’t have my order or my refund in time before going away. The customer service is terrible and has made me lose my trust with them. I just wanted my order to be resent today having proved it had been sent back to sender so I could have it in time for my holiday. The customer shouldn’t have to be inconvenienced due other people’s incompetence. Avoid.

For the first time I found yarn purchased from Love Crafts substandard. I found Sally at Love Crafts more than helpful when she chatted to ask about my problems. I was refunded and will definitely carry on using Love Crafts in future.

The choice of knitting wool is excellent. I have to order from France and delivery is 4 to 5 working days with no customs charges which is very good. The customer services team are very helpful. I couldn't find my order on my account and Maria saw that i had accidently set up a duplicate account. She sorted everything out so quickly, she was very patient and kind and made me feel like a valued customer!

Very impressed with their customer service. My order arrived short of one ball of wool so I contacted customer services and within 3 days I had the wool that I was missing. No long phone call required, just an email to tell them my problem and all sorted.

Made a rookie mistake in that I subbed the make of yarn to be used, and forgot to check the yardage of the sub against the original, so 3/4 of the way through knitting, I ran out of yarn. In a panic, I phoned Customer Care and within a few minutes, my problem was solved by a kind, knowledgeable member of the team. Within 24 hours, my extra yarn is on it's way. The problem was completely mine, I won't make that mistake again but Customer Care ensured I could at least finish the item I was working on and it's a lesson learned. First Class service and my 2nd order is now on it's way! Great company; it was recommended to me by a knitting mad friend and I have no hesitation in passing on that recommendation to anyone from a complete beginner to advanced!

I am in UK for a week and need extra wool to take back with me. I ordered it on Thursday and paid for faster evri delivery which delivers within 2 days of dispatch.
On Friday I hadn’t had email saying it had been dispatched so rang customer care who checked for me and said yes it was now marked as dispatched. A few minutes later I got the email saying it was on its way. It’s now Sunday and evri app is telling me they are expecting the parcel but it has not arrived with them yet. They have been saying that since Friday evening. I’m not sure whether the lack of clarity lies with Lovecrafts or evri. Either way I have no idea where the parcel is on its two day journey.
