Good IF it works....
I bought two Serenity lamps as a muti-purchase. The first worked great, still does and is really effective, Worth noting that the lead is very short and it must be plugged in at all times to work, although the wave is really effective. However, when I first used the second lamp, it lit up but had no wave effect whatsoever, despite this being the whole point in having a lamp like this. I opened that second one and first used it 39 days after delivery. I contacted Luminea and sent a video showing that it had no wave effect. They quickly responded but said faults must be reported within 10 days of delivery. So if you don't use it within 10 days or it goes wrong on day 11, then too bad. They said as 'goodwill' they would give 10% refund which I said was unacceptable since, even if it had been working from day 1, then 10 days is a ridiculous guarantee period and it's reasonable to expect it to be fully functional on day 39 whether it's been used beforehand or not. They replied, saying they would have replaced it if it was 'completely' faulty (so even after 10 days?) but that they thought from my video that the wave 'does appear to be functioning' so would give me a 20% refund (like that makes sense?!). The two videos I sent clearly show that the wave feature did not work at all - they seemed to forget that I have one that fully works, so can very easily see the difference. So it was all just nonsense. The 'refund' or even 'goodwill' policy, whatever Luminea wish to call it, is clearly made up as they go along. No idea why they would offer 20% refund for a lamp that they genuinely think is fully functioning. When I again said that this was unacceptable since it very clearly did not function and the lamp should be replaced, they simply did not respond and have not answered to two further emails. So they clearly had no intention of offering any remedy at all. In short - if the product works, it's really good. If it doesn't you can forget it. 10 days should be the giveaway - very much 'buyer beware'.
