Outside appearance seems pretty decent. Certification offered was easy at most. Educational content is poor.. Read a paragraph or two answer one multiple-choice question and then you get certified?
I’m a licensed professional.
I’ve been an educator.
Weak education.
Then promises of equipment in stock as soon as payments are complete and certifications done device would be shipped within 5 to 7 days.
Bank fully refunded money.
Owners husband emails me a week after requesting $24,000 and he would ship the device immediately!
Absolutely insane do not purchase equipment from this company.
They look good on the outside, but their foundation is probably not even real.

After keeping my deposit, I won a CCJ against Lumi SKN and they didn't pay.
A Third Party Debt Order..and they didnt pay.
I have reported them to Trading Standards, Action Fraud, Insolvency Agency and more!

They are still trading and advertising their business and equipment on social media.
Do your research before spending money with this company.

I have ordered this neck cream. It still hasn’t arrived.

I arrived at the appointed time of 12.30 for a simple manicure and gel polish only to find a sign on the shop door indicating the salon was closed for staff training, so I went else where to make an appointment for later in the day. On my way back to my car I noticed Lumi SKN was opening so went in and was assured that the beauty consultant would be with me in a few minutes. After waiting 25 minutes with no one, not even a receptionist, anywhere in sight, I knocked on the door of one of the treatment rooms where I could hear jovial conversation, to enquire when I would be seen. Several minutes later, a woman bustled out and the beautician prepared to do my manicure. I was not happy at this lengthy wait, but then to add to my annoyance there was a very limited choice of colours (about 6 - the justification being that the salon had recently opened!). Having had enough of this very poor service I decided to leave.
I cannot believe how Lumi Skn, Loughborough, expect to build a loyal client base and repeat custom with such unreliable and unprofessional service.
I was later contacted by the manager/owner (?) Who apologised, saying they had had an unexpected client come in (what happened to "staff training"?) , offering me a complementary treatment whenever it was convenient. Unsurprisingly, I refused, informing them that I would go elsewhere (possibly to the salon next door) in future.

The long story very short is that this company have kept my deposit despite me asking for it for months. Although I did try to compromise with them, being lied to again and again ( by one of the owners / senior business manager), I decided I had no other option than to recover the money via the small claims court.

I could go on but I hate leaving negative reviews.
I can only say that it is a very sad day when so called 'professionals' in our industry show this level of insidiousness and total disregard, especially for someone like myself who works at home and is a sole trader.
They should feel ashamed of themselves.

Reading the other reviews seems I’m not the only one that has had issues with the customer service and guys running this company! I hate writing reviews on small businesses if they aren’t good one but I don’t want anyone else to lose money with this awful company! I didn’t have a good start as I handed over the money for a machine and then was getting ignored having to chase on Facebook, email, text and instagram just to find out when my machine was actually going to be delivered and further down the line the same for the service which was one of the owners who probably isn’t even qualified to service a laser machine! At the service I gave the owner my views on the company and the service I had received and was very honest he told me there has been a huge change in the team and things were now better!! Well I’m now trying to sell my machines but due to no manufacturer details on the back of the machine no one seems to want to buy as I just keep getting told it’s a cheap one from china that they have put together in the UK! I personally wouldn’t believe anything this company now claims. I went to the company and asked about them selling my machine for me second hand but I’ve been ignored once again when I’ve asked for help! They are money grabbing individuals who really don’t care about anyone’s salons, therapists or clients. I have used a lot of companies within my business and never have I experienced such awful behaviour after spending thousands with the company! Do not make the same mistake I did as I am now stuck with 2 worthless machines that are still costing me even after the thousands I originally put down :-(
You guys should be ashamed of yourselves! They also claim to help with marketing etc, you don’t get anything other than a price list when you originally pay for the machine and someone local to me asked them if any salons had these machines local they could try and they were told No! Well they found me themselves and came for a visit I can only assume the owners didn’t want to put our salon forward due to the service we had received and they wanted the other therapists money first before finding out what they are really like!
I have done a lot of research on the company and I know someone is taking them to court for being such cowboys and another therapist received a fake solicitors letter from lumiskn telling them to stop bad mouthing their company etc!
Honestly the more information I’m finding out the more I can’t believe I fell into their trap. Please all do your research

I purchased my lumilase pro from lumiskn. They have been a great company to deal with, no pressure selling, very helpful, have helped me with other training I needed to do. Machine was delivered on time, training was great, I am very excited to start pushing my business venture! Thank you Sam and Emily xx

Steer clear of this company. They took my payment and then went silent. After finally reaching someone, they repeatedly postponed the delivery of a machine that I’m unsure actually exists. I had to contact my credit card company to recover my money, and only then did they start contacting me, demanding money for nothing. Do your research and you’ll see there are plenty of similar stories out there.

I used the lumi skn machines back in 2020 when they were based in the old salon.
I will share my review of the experience that I had with Lumi Skn :
-I was falsely told the machines were manufactured in the UK but have had confirmation that they are made in China. I only had one session so cannot comment on the machines as it doesn’t do anything after 1 session which is to be expected.
-I was told I would be paid on a freelance (not employed) basis for the marketing work, exhibition items and website that I did for the company but I am still waiting for payment over 2 years later and they are refusing to pay. The owner owes me over £26k which is being persued via the appropriate channels.
-The owner stated how happy she was with my work then slated me when I asked to be paid after several promises to pay were made and missed.
-The owner and her husband have decided to both leave harrowing reviews on my business page with completely untrue (and frankly awful and sick) statements to try and slander me my business because I dared to disagree with the way I have been treated by them via the appropriate legal avenues. All I wanted was the money I was promised. I was also surprised to learn that what I had been told about the company’s machines was untrue which did not sit well with me. I have experienced constant lies and deception since I unfortunately came across this company. I will not be bullied by this company who in my experience treat people terribly and do not pay their bills. All about making more money with no care for the individuals involved in their web of ‘false promises’. I feel like I have just been robbed, ignored and then abused online by people making up lies trying to gaslight and twist the fact that they have acted without integrity. Horrible experience.
