Lunar has a great airy environment where friends can chat. No booming music just a sense of clam. The staff are usually attentive. And the food is usually a little more sophisticated than pub grub. Reflected in the price. However, recently our party of four were left pretty much unattended unless we went out of our way to attract attention. The wine removed from the table in an ice bucket is ok, but not if there are no staff to do top ups.
Water was asked for but took 20mins to arrive. Food was OK except in the Caesar salad the anchovies were not fresh ( tinned or from a jar)
Coffee came a good 20 mins before dessert. Hopefully this experience was a one off. Maybe the staff were inexperienced, but if this was the case then perhaps some supervision would have been required. We were told there was a large party of 20 being served, and it was good that the restaurant absorbed this large party without us noticing, but it really should not impact the service provided to other diners. This experience might be a one off, but it has made me reluctant to book again.

I honestly can't believe that this location was not on Trust Pilot. I have recently moved into the area, and when going into panic about the internet not working at my home address found this gem.

It is located in the heart of Staffordshire at the iconic World of Wedgwood.

Unfortunately I was here for work. It is my new favourite WFH location. FREE brilliant fast wifi, lovely staff, great feeling with some great tunes as background music. Even when the restaurant is heaving at lunchtime, the dedicated "co working" workspace, called The Parlour, still feels quiet and professional.

Coffee is great, free on site parking, and access to their menus too.

I sort of reluctantly didn't want to put this on, as I wanted to keep this amazing place a secret, just for me, but thought it's only fair to Lunar and it's staff to give them a shout out!
