We have been trying to contact this company for months now regarding our holiday cancelled last year. They have kept our money refusing to reply to emails and not answering our phone calls. This is very frustrating and worrying for us. Do not book with Lux Camp if you want to know your money is safe!!

This reply below: Myself and my husband have emailed you many times the last few months and both have been completely ignored!! I have sat on the phone lines hours waiting for someone to answer and it repeats you are second in the queue with no response. I have re sent an email this morning and I am currently sat waiting on the phone again with no luck! I understand you are busy but to have no contact with yourselves for months is unacceptable.

Very well priced, information straight sent to the email. I had to amend a booking and it was done easily and without any hassle and without any extra charge, very impressed! All the questions asked via email replied very quickly Now!Now just waiting for my holiday to start!!!

There was lots of choice of accomodations with many different prices for all pockets. I would have liked more info on the accomodations with floor plans and decking arrangements, not all of the descriptions were as full. But overall very pleased with the webiste, it's our first time using LuxCamp .

Absolutely fantastic service. Had to cancel our booking and there were excellent throughout the whole process.

If all companies were like this the world would be a better place.

Absolutely excellent facilities, at Union lido.
The accommodation is supurb.
It is a really clean site and fantastic for families.
The beach is stunning and the entertainment is excellent.
All of the employees are very helpful and friendly.

Do NOT book with Luxcamp. Despite quarantine measures in place in France 3 weeks prior to our holiday, they demanded that we pay in full or cancel. We opted to cancel, and they now refuse to refund our deposit. They are also rude and unhelpful. I have lost over £550 and the company would not have had to pay out a penny to the campsite in France.
You are much better to book direct with your chosen campsite than trust these sharks with your money. In these uncertain times, a holiday company needs to be ethical and trustworthy: luxcamp are neither of those.

Luxcamp have cancelled our holiday and sent us a 'voucher' for our camping holiday this August within days of me fully paying for the holiday.
We received many emails following payment of deposit stressing final payment was necessary and due 3 weeks before travel.
Luxcamp acknowledged full receipt of payment 23.7.20 and then sent us cancellation notice with 'voucher' 28.7.20.
Luxcamp continue to take bookings for the same campsite on the same dates.
Luxcamp have no phone to contact and have not replied to any of my many emails.
I have contacted the campsite who are open and running.
I am very concerned about this conflicting information and lack of communication from Luxcamp.
This is causing a lot of frustration, concern and stress.

Excellent communication and a variety of options due to the virus, by far the best company I've dealt with throughout this. I'm looking forward to our holiday with them next year.

Unfortunately we are unable to take our holiday in July as planned. However Lux have been excellent in responding to our emails and we have been able to take their vouchers for next year. Although the campsites are open we are unable to travel. Looking forward to rebooking with them once we can get flights sorted and hopefully get as great a deal and accomodation as we would have had for this year.

This company is providing UK customers with false information. Anyone who booked their holiday through the UK is not covered by the SGR bankruptcy coverage and any vouchers issued are not covered either. I have contacted the SGR through their website and they have confirmed that UK customers are not covered. Do not accept any vouchers from this company as you are not covered.

They also state:

Camping Vision AG, as your contract partner when booking via lux-camp.co.uk, is a member of ABTA (no. Y6363). This means the holidays on this website are protected by ABTA.

However, I have checked the ABTA website and they are not members.

It's unfair and wrong to mislead customers and provide them with false information.

Had a problem due to the corona virus, flights to Italy cancelled, had accommodation changed to Spain with no extra cost
Will definitely use Lux again, probably to Italy next year
Haven't been on the holiday yet, but so far very impressed with Lux customer service
