Terrible experience sold me a fraudulent ticket and when I went to check in- the airline caught this and I had to pay almost 8000 for one way back!! Never use this agency ever- buyer beware!!

🤔 Is Luxe Still a Luxury Travel Company?

I am currently on a Luxe trip in South Africa (day three), and the experience does not align with what Luxe markets—or charges—as luxury. At this point, the only thing that feels premium is the price.

Airport transportation required manual coordination, leaving some guests waiting despite Luxe’s promises of “seamless arrivals” and “premium transportation.” The vehicle provided is an older-model luxury van with a malfunctioning sound system now being run through my personal phone, complete with popping, hissing, and random cutouts.

Basic planning gaps have continued. Despite Luxe’s claims of “thoughtful, anticipatory service,” essentials like water were not available during excursions due to lack of preparation.

Most concerning is New Year’s Eve. Our group paid a premium price, which is expected at this time of year. What is not expected is an unusually informal plan: no reserved table (we will be standing) and what was sold as a full meal reduced to hors d’oeuvres. For a luxury experience marketed heavily toward women, this is especially disappointing, as many will not even be able to wear the outfits they planned. That fundamentally changes the experience.

My partner previously traveled with Luxe and had an excellent experience. Something has clearly changed, and the decline in execution is hard to ignore.

I had written a review earlier and remarkably, it got deleted... I"m here again to warn follks - do not use this service. You will not have a good experience.

They book two different flights, 3 months apart and use the first flight only and then cancel the backend. This is frowned upon by airlines and if you get caught, they will void your tickets.

It’s a scam…..said I wasn’t interested, receiving constant phone calls and emails throughout all times during the night! Stay clear

The Travel Agent Nelson was EXCELLENT BUT the company could not actually get us the tickets.
We paid with our AMERICAN EXPRESS PLATINUM CARD . Amex said Luxe never tried to run the ticket charge . They did run a test and then credited back the $1.00 . They never ran the $9700+’for the tickets . We worked with the agent for two to three days . Now have to start over with less than 30’days now .

I paid for the service and did not get a thing. After leaving a negative review online I was contacted by someone claiming to be Andy saying that someone would assist me with logging into their program. No one ever contacted me so I disputed the charge with me credit card company for a refund. Total waste of time!

We had a great experience with LUXE Travel, response time, prices and overall service are great. Can only recommend them if flying first class or business.

I booked my first First Class Flight at LUXE Travel, the response time, the great support, the prices everything was to awesome. I will use LUXE Travel again for my all Flights now

Booked two first class tickets to Auckland and it was the best decision to go for. Cheaper flights with amazing customer service from the booking until trip ends.

I had a great experience with Noor, he was efficient and sincere. It’s safe to say that we had zero problems booking our trip and will be using Luxe Travel again!

I recently booked a Flight for me and my wife to Thailand with Etihad Airways and Luxe Travel gave me the best price ever! Was an awesome Experience to fly with Etihad Business. Can recommend 5/5 stars ⭐️
