Had a great customer service experience. Had an Exped sleep mat that went faulty. Got in touch, communication was friendly and speedy and after returning the product to them, next day a replacement was sent out. Really great when a company operates like this. Couldn't be happier. Thanks.

I bought a 2-liter Seeker water bottle from them in January 2023. I paid a lot more for it than for other bottles on the market because they offered a lifetime warranty. What nonsense and a scam! Their lifetime warranty doesn't exist, so stay away from these shady cowboys. After just a few uses, the bottle’s seams came apart. I emailed them photos, but they just replied buck and told me to contact the retailer. I did that, only to be told by the retailer that there was nothing they could do because the manufacturer had dropped them from their distribution network as part of a new policy to get rid of small distributors. I wrote back to the company again, but unfortunately, I received no reply. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. They take no responsibility for their products, and their so-called lifetime warranty is nothing but a marketing scam. You can find much cheaper, higher-quality alternatives on AliExpress.

We have used Lyon Equipment for around 20 years, they have consistenly done a good job, by far one of the better suppliers we use.

Terrible customer service I won’t be using them again they sold me slippers that I paid postage for there guide started between a size 4-6 the were like a pair of boats you could have got three people in there and there would have been a bit of space left over when i contacted support they wouldn’t supply me with a return postage label so I paid about a 10er for absolutely nothing not the biggest deal but with customer service like that I’m not going to be dropping any decent amount of money with them again for matts etc

I ordered an Ortlieb Vario with the 3.1 locking system directly from Ortlieb’s UK site, managed by Lyon. The bag itself is excellent, but unfortunately, the locking system didn’t fit my bike rack, which has only a single vertical stud—a detail that’s only clear from the instructions. Disappointed, I started a return, but the customer care experience was shockingly poor. Instead of objective help, I received personal opinions, my concerns were dismissed as “never heard that it can’t be attached,” and my name was misspelled multiple times. The tone throughout was rude and dismissive. What’s worse is that I had to pay £7 for my own return, and they made up all sorts of different versions about their ‘free return policy’ which somehow I was not qualifying for.
This is a terrible representation of an otherwise good product, and after researching further, I found that prices here are also notably higher. I cannot recommend purchasing from this site; the poor customer service and inflated prices make it a frustrating and disappointing experience. Absolutely avoid.
