Great choices, happy with the delivery process, nice food but some errors in some of the meals.

Taste is fantastic!! Don't have to worry about meal prep and buying loads of different things to stop it from being boring.
Would 100% recommend to anyone

Hey Macro team, I wish my rating was higher as my first experience and my boyfriend’s ones were great. On my second one unfortunately the food arrived in less fresh packaging, with the ice bags melted and this affected the quality of the food and it’s availability during the following days. I hope this was a singular case and I’ll come back after my next order with a 5 stars one! Thank you

The Meals are very good, I did have an issue with my order but the company have contacted me to rectify the issue.

Used to be great, but quality has suffered lately.

Just lovely to have a meal delivered to the door that has been freshly cooked rather than a frozen meal to put in the microwave. I ate the last one without even heating it as I couldn’t wait

Placed three orders with macro meals and experienced problems with each order.
First order didn't arrive and had to be postponed to the following week.
Orders 2 and 3 received, both with meals that were past their use by dates!
One meal was dated "use by1st January" when my order was placed in July!
Tried to contact them by WhatsApp through the link on their website - no response.
Tried to contact them by live chat and received a reply saying I would be contacted - no response.
Given up on them now and would not order from them again.

The food was genuinely 1 out of 10!
I've never eaten anything worse...
Meat - dry and very sparse (I struggle to believe those meals had over 35g of protein)
Sauce - very mediocre and bland, but agruably the best thing about the meal.
Carbs- literally mass boiled and plonked into the box. No seasoning, no effort.
Veg - appaling! I didn't realise someone could mess up boiling veg. Blandness wasn't even the problem by this point. It had a funky smell to it, as if it has been left outside the fridge for the night before getting boxed. It tasted off from the very first day we got the meals!

To add insult to the injury, each of the above meals costs £7!!! Including delivery.

We've tried various other meal prep companies before. All cheaper and much better tasting than this one.

I've no idea what market they're trying to compete in! Prices of a chef standard prep delivery (KBK comes to mind) coupled with an incomprehensible quality! EasyJet food is fine dining in comparison!

I’d put off ordering from Macro Meals as I’d seen some mixed reviews but with the best vegetarian options I could find online, I decided to go for it. Ordering was easy and quick - being able to substitute out foods you don’t like isn’t something I’ve found anywhere else and makes a massive difference! Delivery was easy, I received a 1 hour window slot and my order arrived well within that time by DPD. I’ve just had my first meal and the food was fresh and full of flavour. If you’re looking for a quick and easy way to track your food without eating salad twice a day, I wouldn’t hesitate to give these meals a go.

No answer back, I tried to talk to them many times, nobody answered back, I send many emails... so I had to give up

They Have great and nutritious pre preapred meals.

The Keto pancakes are especially delicious!

I really want to say nice things about these guys; the food is tasty and they do seem to care about the customer experience, quickly resolving issues where possible.
That said, one aspect of Macro Meals that simply does not stack up is the whole weight loss or muscle gain part of ordering meals. It seems it's not implemented at all.
Case in point, my partner and I order our meals together, she orders hers under the weight loss menu, selects her ingredients, and so on, finalises her order and adds it to the basket. I then start the process again, this time specifying muscle gain. I choose my ingredients, add my meals to the basket and finalise the whole order. Simple enough.
However, once the food is delivered and you look at the calorie/protein composition of the meals, more than half of hers have both more protein and often as much as 150 calories more than my dishes.
It's not a case of mistaken identity here either, because despite the meals having no labeling to show whether they're for weight loss or muscle gain, we made a point of having one ingredient that's only in my meals, so we can tell whose is whose.
Finally, probably the most important thing here, you really cannot trust their labeling for the macros in your dish. Do you know how much lean mince you need to get 40g of protein? Around 200g. Or 150g of chicken breast. I can categorically state, that none of the meals I have, contain anywhere near the amount of meat required to deliver that much protein.
They really need to sort their whole business model out because you simply cannot trust the labeling, portion size, or macros you've ordered having any relation to what you actually receive.

Great service and super tasty

I had an issue where I was sent a wrong order back in February, and this was not attended to despite me sending numerous emails

I’ve had Macro Meals before and never had an issue. Until this order. I’m allergic to peas and there were random peas found in 4 of my 16 meals. The food/ chicken now tastes plastic as this wasn’t the issue before. The potatoes aren’t “fluffy” or cooked thoroughly. I needed a quick fix for my meals but this was just a waste of £80.

Superb meals. Taste really fresh. My second delivery is due tomorrow!

The meals are fairly carb heavy and low in protein although my major issue is that oftentimes the incorrect protein is packaged in the box. Two out of ten of my orders this week incorrectly had chickpeas rather than tofu. The tofu options never contain the nutritional information on the box just have ? In the circles. This is most unhelpful for tracking food effectively …

Really good quality meals! Super easy to cook and comes with nutritional info on each individual tub
