Just wanted to say thanks so much for…

Just wanted to say thanks so much for my order of the City Lead. I've triend other hands free leads but nothing as managable as this. Easy to put on and comfy to wear, the traffic grip handle is great for obviouse reasons and if you need to keep your dog a little closer.

I have a Staffordshire Bull terrier, a strong 24kg who can certainly give a good tug when shes looking for a good sniff! She walks great on the lead generally, this lead can be long enough to give a little extra rambling.

Today on our maiden voyage on a cold autumn afternoon, both my hands were toasty warm and firmly placed in my pockets!!!

Congratulations on a fantastic product.

Absolutely amazing leads

Absolutely amazing leads , great customer service and is happy to meet customers needs and that of the dogs . We needed a good strong lead for our new dog and wanted one that would do as he got bigger and also somethong we could use in the garden for training . We Ended up ordering a second lead for the other dog

A great product

A great product. I have a lurcher who is about 24KG and the lead is so durable it is well able for his weight. 10/10, would highly recommend!

These guys do great work

These guys do great work. They both helped us when we found an abandoned dog and helped us meet our lovely collie pup. Visiting their Connemara location, you can tell that all the staff are incredibly dedicated to finding the dogs a new home and passionate in their work with animals.

Madra Connemara review.

I must say the conditions of hard concrete floors and iron gates in a sub standard shed in Connemara left little comfort to poor little dogs. Minimal comforts with no toys , etc, where is all the donations and funding going that public donate to on a regular basis. Old blankets/
/ hanging haphazard on kennel gates to segregate distressed dogs 🐕.

This is a hard review to read. But rescue is hard, and it's not pretty. You are absolutely right that the main kennel block needs some investment; we know it's dated and needs a revamp. We have set aside funds for this investment but the logistics of changing the flooring for example would require us to have empty kennels for a prolonged period and with the pounds bursting at the seams and a huge list of dogs waiting for a space in our kennels, for now we have to put the needs of homeless dogs ahead of aesthetics. This does not affect the care that the dogs get, quite the opposite in fact as our team of staff and volunteers are fully focused on looking after all the dogs in our care and keeping the facilities clean and safe. The donated sheets and blankets hanging on individual kennel doors ensure each dog has privacy and are not overlooked by other dogs or people. They might not be fancy, expensive screens but they achieve what is needed for now. Happily the dogs get to spend plenty of time enjoying the other areas of our facility like the sensory garden, the big pen, the real-life room as well as twice daily walks in the Connemara countryside and on nearby beaches.

There are toys, interactive feeders, destruction boxes and licky mats available to the dogs all the time so we would certainly like to understand how it was that you didn't see these. Unfortunately it appears that your visit took place over a year ago, so it's difficult to investigate this element of your feedback to see if there was a glitch somewhere that day. It also seems that your visit was limited to just the main block so I'd like to personally invite you to visit us at the kennels for a complete tour of the facilities and a more in-depth view of the work we do.
