Went to several drop-in yoga morning classes with Mahi - it was no less than fabolous !
Mahi is a very gifted person and he just needs a second to look at you to know what your’re dealing with - and make the positions etc for you according to that! I’m coming back!
I give my sincere recommendations!

I practiced yoga with Mahi and Nikki during my stay in Dharamkot. The rooftop studio is probably the best yoga shala view in the area. The inside studio is well equipped for Iyenga yoga with many props, wall ropes and ceiling harnesses.
Great teaching standard and lots of interesting information through the whole class.
Suitable for beginners and yoga teachers, Mahi will see your level and challenge you wherever you are 🙏

This is one best school in Dharamsala and goa where had completed my 200 hours ttc in Goa 300 hours in Dharamsala.
Big yog which Fully equiped, Mahi teaching is pricise which very helpful for al levels. He also explained philosophy behind asana. As he shae resource where is cme from. I highly recommend Mahi yoga school.

Unfortunately, this yoga school operates on a foundation of corruption. Mahi, the owner, has treated his teachers very badly. It’s disheartening to see passionate instructors being taken advantage of while the owner prioritizes financial gain over their welfare.

It's evident that the school values money over integrity. I would not recommend Mahi Yoga School to anyone looking for a genuine, supportive yoga experience. There are many other schools in this area Baghsu where teachers and students are treated with respect and kindness.

I recently completed the 200-hour yoga multistyle teacher training at Mahi Yoga, and it was an incredibly transformative experience. I even decided to extend my stay and added the 100h Yin Yoga Course since I didn‘t want to leave this magical place 🥰

The curriculum was comprehensive, covering everything from the history and philosophy of yoga to anatomy and teaching methodology.

The instructors (Mahi, Kunal & Ajay) were very knowledgeable, supportive, and passionate about sharing their expertise. I appreciated the emphasis on alignment, safety, and mindfulness throughout the training. By the end of the program, I felt confident in my ability to lead a yoga class and share the practice with others. Overall, I highly recommend this training to anyone looking to deepen their understanding of yoga and become a certified instructor.

They are very arrogant. I asked them for 300 hrs TTC yoga fees for an Indian. He said 125k. I told them that in rishikesh this course is in half price why it is so costly than he said our school is for dedicated people not for crowd. You can't afford it etc etc. It's not bout what we can afford or not but if it is a recognised school one must give explanation in a manner. When I wrote a review on Google this guy mahi reply to me that I'm begging for course and someone paid me for the negative review. I have a SS of a chat. He is an arrogant person who earned enough money from yoga i guess. Highly not recommended.

Mahi sir is one of the most competent yoga teachers I have ever come across. Passionate, personable, knowledgeable, sincere and quite a genius. His understanding of the human anatomy, both eastern and western philosophy and keen attention to your individual needs is a combination that you will find in a very few yoga teachers. His teaching philosophy is quite unique and you learn something new every second you spend with him. I feel very humbled and grateful for the opportunity to learn from him. You will go back home with not just a healthy body, but a happy heart and a peaceful mind. It was a fantastic experience at Mahi Yoga! Highly recommended!

My husband and I attended the YTT200 in Goa in 2018. That one month was one of the most beautiful experiences of our lives.

I attribute it to the wonderful group of people who attended the training and equally the beautiful team of teachers who instructed us. Devvrat, Akshay, Amy, Mahi left a deep imprint in my memory and skills thanks to their dedication and outstanding abilities. They all were so unique and wholesome in their teachings, focusing on diverse aspects of yoga. Some would teach Ashtanga, others would focus on therapeutic aspects. Apart from asanas, which happened twice a day every day, we had an intense but comfortably paced schedule covering subjects such as Anatomy, the Art of Teaching, Daily Meditation, Philosophy, with occasional weekend workshops on/about Reikki and Ayurveda.

I am not able to stress enough how dedicated the teachers were, how knowledgeable and at the same time how accessible their knowledge was to us.

Oh, and Arambol will transport you to an absolutely heavenly place. The beach is just gorgeous with lots of interesting yogic events happening all over the place, peppered with eateries along the beach. Ah, take me back there!

I would repeat that experience again, many times!

I completed my 200 YTTC back in January 2019 with Mahi Yoga School, it was an amazing experience, I learned a lot, it was a very informative YTTC. And It made me look forward to another one. Now, that i have just completed my 300 YTTC (December 2020) with the one & only Mahi Yoga School, I can’t express how magnificent the experience again was. It exceeded my expectations. The information & knowledge the teachers shared with us was clear & very well structured, they taught us and supported us in every way possible, & most importantly they opened our minds & hearts. We all left this YTTC with more inspiration & hope in such a tough year!
So much love & light... thank you Mahi Yoga School for this great experience. It is definitely one which I'll never forget. Can’t wait for another YTTC with you.

I just completed a 10-day Iyengar Yoga course with Mahi and I really enjoy his style of teaching. He talks about the anatomy and philosophy behind the asanas, combining the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects that are Yoga.
I highly recommend attending Mahi's courses and I will be back to attend his 300-hr teachings.

My experience at Mahi Yoga started out great but was quickly transformed... As the pandemic (Corona) spread out, all the students dropped out except for me. I started having private lessons with the teachers and one of the teachers repeatedly sexually harassed me. He would massage me in class and insist I take off my clothes, he brought me to his room when the classroom appeared to be locked and tried to kiss me there (this was the third time he tried kissing me and I repeatedly said "No, I feel uncomfortable"). I finally called the owner Mahi and told him I cannot continue these classes because I feel so violated and uncomfortable with this teacher but Mahi begged me to stay and agreed to refund me a small portion of the payment. So I did.. A couple weeks past and I finished the course. Mahi did not give me the certificate and kept giving me little lies about why he could not give me the certificate, putting the blame and responsibility on my teachers or lying about being in the hospital.. I knew that he was lying through people I knew that were seeing and talking to him and that he could easily send me the certificate.
I spent $1200 on this course (after the refund he gave me) and had to face sexual harassment, and stayed all throughout the spread of Corona to complete the course and Mahi never even gave me the certificate. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. Awful experience.

Best school for a yoga teacher training! Amazing professional teachers and good atmosphere :) I will come back for my 300h YTT

I did my yoga teacher training 200hr and 300hr with Mahi Yoga School in 2016. It was and still is one of the best decisions I made. I now teach yoga full time and my life has changed for the better in so many ways. The course syllabus itself is thorough and information is transmitted clearly by the teachers. The teaching team is incredible. very professional, knowledgeable and accessible teachers all of them. Mahi himself is a great wealth of knowledge and a unique teaching experience.
The location in dharamshala is just etheral and adds to the sense of immersing yourself into the science of yoga. The shala is well equipt with all kinds of yoga props and the view of the mountains is stunning. Accommodation and food were also good.
Overall after my experience I felt equipt to teach but able to share much more about yoga than simple instruction. By delving deeply into real Yoga and guided in such a way we are able to transform, we can share something of this experience with our students and aid them in transforming their own lives for the better.

Authentic teachers, excellent Syllabus which covers a holistic way of teaching Yoga. This is no superificial Yoga Teacher Training, this is one which supports each one on its journey on the path of Yoga and gives an excellent basis to start teaching. I really enjoyed the way Mahi is teaching, as he shows the healing potential and healing power of Yoga for every age and every body type, also covering dis-eases, ayurvedic information, cleansing techniques, meditation practices and so much more...

I attended 200 hrs TTYC in July 2019. I was very lucky to be one of Mahi's students. He is very generous in teaching his knowledge. He is an authentic guru. He professionally transferred the philosophy in very simple way. Also when he trained us in the asanas, he was very professional & genuinely. I learned & enjoyed a lot. I am very thankful for your time, efforts, care & love. I appreciate every single detail you did for us & specially for me father 🤗

Honestly my experience with Mahi Yoga was one of the best this year. Mahi is very professional, honest and authentic. He is extremely generous when it comes to teaching his students either philosophy or yoga poses, he enjoys seeing his students’ improvements and genuinely loves what he does. I took the 200 TTC in July 2019 and I was lucky to be one of his students. What he taught me was endless. I’m so thankful for all what you’ve taught me, and thankful for all the times (good and bad) you stood by me and guided me.

I started my yoga journey with mahi a year ago , he was my motivational and inspiring master at these time. He teaches-me how to how to dig deep and explore your inner self and how to see the world with eye of love and compassion . I took 200h twice and 300h once and am willing to attend more and more. Mahi teaches in unique way mix of love , care, discipline and fun in all way. Yoga with mahi let you practice it in your daily life the way you think , the way you behave every situation in daily routine you will learn how to act with yoga style. Yoga with mahi is a journey of exploring yourself and a life change journey . Mahi is my spiritual guidance now 😊
