Dont try free period or anything, they take your money, and you can not cancel the subscription from the website, you have to email them, but then they ignore you. TRUST ME THIS IS A SCAM, i know it looks legit, but they are stealing my money dont make same mistake.

Great experience!

I own an agency and a couple of businesses that rely heavily on content, can´t recommend MakeUGC enough, is really great, the best part is the support team, is fast and very reliable, been using it almost since the beginning, keen to see what they have in plans for the future

Cancelled my subscription in February, got charged again the next month

Cancelled my subscription in February, got a confirmation email saying my subscription is cancelled, and they are sorry to see me go... and then got charged again in March.

No reply from their customer support to multiple contact attempts.

Unauthorized Charge & No Proper Refund Confirmation

I was charged $49 on April 6 without clear authorization, which was already concerning.

After contacting support, I requested a full refund. On April 9, I was told that my refund had been approved, but even after several days:

I have not received any confirmation email
No transaction/reference ID has been shared
The money has still not been credited

Support keeps repeating the same generic timeline (1–14 days) without providing actual proof that the refund has been processed.

This lack of transparency is frustrating. If a refund is truly issued, there should be a confirmation and transaction details — which I have not received.

I am now forced to consider filing a bank dispute and cyber complaint due to the delay and lack of clear communication.

Would not recommend based on this experience.

They charge money even when you pause your subscription…

Seriously, this is not okay. I paused and cancelled my subscription, yet I still got charged. Even worse, it looks like the subscription somehow reactivated on its own without my permission.

This feels very unreliable and honestly makes me question if this is intentional. As a customer, you expect that when you cancel or pause something, it actually stops not that you keep getting billed anyway.

Customer support needs to fix this fast and be way more transparent about how subscriptions work. Until then, I definitely don’t trust this service anymore.

Great customer support

Customer support really took the effort to help me out and so far it seems they could do very good work, my problems are solved and im back to making UGC that so far has performed well. It did not take too much time and im enjoying the product

Terrible - be warned.

Terrible. An absolute scam, signed up for the trial, it really wasn’t for us which is fine. But the aftermath is awful - I have cancelled 3 times, have contacted them over 10 times - they continue to take money out of my account despite cancellation and they have no staff - not a single person is getting back to me - sent 6 emails with no response over 3.5 weeks. If I could upload the screenshots I would.

RUBBISH

I purchased the basic plan after being told it included the features I needed and that I could get a refund if it didn’t meet my requirements. Within 15 minutes, I realised it wasn’t suitable for what I needed and requested a refund.

Since then, I’ve spent two months trying to obtain a refund with no success. The clips produced were inconsistent, each one had multiple issues, and the output varied significantly. Most importantly, there were no Australian voiceover options available, which is essential for a local business operating in Australia.

Terrible company

Terrible company. They charged my card on file while I cancelled 3 months ago, attributing it to my account being "part of those small number of accounts that were affected by the billing migration issue" -- but they never reached out about that themselves proactively, I had to reach out about it myself. Their support then approved the refund, but I did not receive any refund for 28 days. I had to check in AGAIN and threaten legal action, after which the refund was actually issued and received back on the SAME day. Be careful with them, feels scammy and intentional.
