Working with MakeYourLabel was honestly a strong experience overall. Their preorder-first strategy is what stood out the most because it reduces unnecessary production risk and focuses on validating real demand before scaling. The team understands branding, positioning, and how to make a product feel market-ready instead of just “manufactured.”

Communication was professional, the process felt structured, and they genuinely focus on helping brands build long-term rather than chasing short-term sales.

The only small downside is that they’re very selective and data-driven with scaling decisions, so they won’t push mass production unless the product shows strong market validation first. But in hindsight, that’s actually a smart approach because it protects the brand from wasting capital on inventory that may not sell.

Overall, great experience and definitely different from a traditional manufacturer.

The sales team will sell you this beautiful dream of working with them is like a dream come true. If you can secure a place for 70 dollars. They will promise you will be given utmost priority from their team who will go above and beyond in making make your clothing business dream into reality. They will make promises like our team will work with you day and night, you will have a dedicated design team, technical team, marketing team, IT and sales etc they will say things like all you have to do is sit back and relax. The reality is completely different I should have known from the beginning that business don't run like this, being naive and very new to all this I fell for the trap decided to pay. Once you paid the initial payment your thrown into the back of the line. I understand bigger clients will be given utmost priority. But when I asked that I would like to order some samples through the 70 dollars I paid
(which you can use toward your purchases as per their selling strategy) I was told that I have to spend at least 300-400 dollars more before I can place any orders. I felt disappointment and cheated on that moment. And never contacted them again . I continued to look for other supplier being cautious this time. And luckily found so other independent supliars who will work with you and treat you with respect. Their business plan was too good to be true and its a total scam in my eyes. I would recommend doing research or finding authentic supliars Alibaba who will go above and beyond to make your dream come true. I hope this helps to someone out there.

The commercial process also appeared to rely on pre-payment via internal wallet mechanisms rather than conventional invoicing, which did not align with our procurement standards.

MakeYourLabel or MYL is a good company with very professional designers etc. The journey planning is so smooth, non hassled.

I have worked with many companies over the years, and I have to say that Make Your Label has been one of the most pleasant experiences I’ve had in a long time. I decided to start a small clothing line as a retirement project, and their team guided me through every step with patience and genuine care.

They never rushed me, always explained things clearly, and made sure I understood the process from design to sampling. It’s rare these days to find a company that actually listens and treats you with respect, but they certainly do. Their communication is excellent, and their work is dependable and honest.

If anyone—especially folks my age—is thinking about starting a fashion project or small brand, I can confidently say Make Your Label is a trustworthy partner. They made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free.
