Management Consulted Reviews

I cannot recommend the exceptional coaching that was provided by Management Consulted. George Cary provided fantastic mentorship which led me to feel perfectly prepared for my MBB interviews.

Management Consulted was a huge help in my journey to land a full-time offer with PwC. I did their Black Belt program to help make the pivot from engineering to consulting.

Katie Neff helped put together a great preparation plan, their resume team helped me prepare a killer resume, and their coaches did a great job preparing me for the case and behavioral interviews (shout-out to Nare Israelyan, Francisco Monteiro, Lisa Bright, and Tauseef Charanya).

George Cary is an awesome coach - super helpful with McKinsey exhibits and feedback specifically!

George was a truly exceptional case coach and key in securing my MBB offer! I worked with him throughout MBB recruiting, and he is the best case coach there is.
Feedback is always targeted, clear, and actionable - maximizing learning opportunity and speed. Cases are exceptionally well constructed and felt like ideal preperation for the interviews. PEI and personal fit questions were also covered super quickly and effectively.
Throughout, George was a pleasure to work with and made each session fun and engaging. I couldnt recommend working with him more!

My sessions with Maile were extremely helpful. She gave me the honest feedback I needed to improve my casing skills, while also helping instill some much needed into me. I was able to land a MBB offer with her help!

All of the help I got was awesome. I got amazing resume feedback and then they helped me case super well. I ended up with multiple MBB interviews and offers! Maile, Katie, and Laura were all super smart. Would recommend.

I signed up for the black belt program and took coaching from Tauseef Charanya. Tauseef provided very thorough feedback on my performance, and tangible steps to improve. I certainly had a step change improvement in my performance as a result.

I also extensively used the content in Black Belt. The tips on networking and mental math are the best content across all the other offerings in the market. A few years on, I continue to use BB casing material and industry insights to touch up on my skills.

I had a great experience with the online modules and case coaches at MC. Catherine Lee and Maile Dyer were both amazing coaches and really helped me with structured feedback. Definitely helped me a lot with guiding the case and structuring the responses more efficiently!

Maile was a big help in preparing for the case interview. She offered feedback that was clearly tailored to me and drills to help improve.

George Cary is a great coach! He chose one of the most interesting cases and share very good insight on how to approach casing and make it fun!

I have had the pleasure of working with George Cary for the past couple of months and it has been awesome! I feel as though I have learned so much from George and how he has been able to help me with my out of the box thinking. I would definitely recommend George to anyone just starting out.

Before pulling the trigger on the Black Belt Program, I was a little worried about the return on my investment, but I can confidently say it has been well worth it! Coming into this experience with no prior case interview knowledge, George Cary was able to cut through the plethora of myths online about what strong case performance actually looks like and tailor each session to help me become a well-rounded interviewer. His expertise, personalized approach, and commitment to my development have made a tremendous difference. I cannot recommend George highly enough!

Had a great experience with my coach George Cary. I had no experience whatsoever doing casing and found it very daunting at first, but George was very clear and concise with his feedback and areas to improve on. He is very adaptable to your learning methods and needs. Highly recommend for all new beginners and experienced students as well.

I had an amazing experience so far with George Cary and Management Consulted. He is so great at teaching the fundamentals, while also sharing areas to shine and stand out as an interviewee. I was originally very nervous to start case prep, and he has made me feel so much more comfortable and confident!!

I went into consulting recruiting with zero casing background, which felt pretty daunting at first. Working with George Cary through Management Consulted, that changed fast. Sessions were structured but never felt like a script. After a few weeks I noticed I was adapting to unfamiliar case types instead of freezing up or forcing a memorized framework onto everything.

The PEI side ended up being just as valuable, maybe more so since I'd underrated how much it mattered going in. My stories got sharper and more specific with each round, to the point where they actually answered what interviewers were probing for instead of just sounding like a good anecdote.

If you're starting from scratch on casing and want a coach who actually gets you there, George is who I'd point you to.

Excellent coaches — ask for George Cary:

Management Consulted has very strong coaches to get you ready for MBB interviews. I want to give a special mention to George Cary — he is great, patient, and very knowledgeable about the consulting recruiting / interview process.

I was preparing for my McKinsey interviews, and my casing skills improved exponentially working with him. He knows exactly what the interviewers are looking for and gives you feedback you can actually use. He never rushed me, never made me feel like I was asking too many questions, and every session I walked away better than I came in.

He also prepared me very well for the PEI. That part of the McKinsey process is easy to underestimate, and George helped me get my stories to where they needed to be.

Just a great coach all around. If you are prepping for your consulting interviews, I would recommend him without hesitation.

I had an amazing and wonderful experience with my coach George Cary at Management Consulted when preparing for consulting interviews. He does an excellent job of teaching you from the foundations and helping you build the casing skills. I improved on my brainstorming, quant and qualitative skills within a few weeks when coaching with George.I would highly recommend George if anyone is aiming for MBB and other consulting firms.
Thank you!

Honestly? Not great, but not bad. Their content is incredibly dated for what you’ll get in a real interview. It will give you the basics and help you understand the structure of cases, but definitely won’t prepare you for a 2nd-final round.

The coaches are fine (knowledge-wise), but don’t expect a patient, kind coach. I always left discouraged after my sessions because I felt their feedback was way too harsh to even call it “actionable or constructive”. However, it still helped me identify my weaknesses, so that was helpful.

I’d try other options if I had the chance to invest in a course or 1:1s, all over again!

The coaches were patient and always provided actionable feedback for me when I completed a case. I immediately felt more comfortable navigating through cases after each session especially when I hit a roadblock. They provided me with the necessary structure to create a strong framework that would help me start off on the right foot. Highly recommend for anyone who is aiming for a management consulting position!

My coach that I worked consistently with Tobe, was incredibly smart and generous with his time. He consistently gave me actionable feedback as well as homework so I was actually improving that feedback. I definitely recommend!
