I am sharing my experience to advise future travelers to exercise extreme caution when dealing with Somatheeram Resort. During my stay, I encountered significant issues regarding misleading practices and non-fulfillment of agreed services.
Resolution was not handled professionally by the resort management on site. The matter was only resolved after reporting the incident to the Vizhinjam Police Station and escalating through my agency (FitReisen), which eventually resulted in a written admission of debt from the resort and a €300 refund.
Due to the severity of the practices experienced, formal complaints with complete evidence trails have been submitted to:

District Collectorate of Thiruvananthapuram
Ministry of Consumer Affairs
Advice to future guests: If you choose to stay here, ensure every agreement, service promise, and payment is documented in writing. Do not accept anything less than what you paid for.
