Manta Expeditions is a UK registered company closely affiliated to the Manta Trust. Our mission is to raise awareness and provide education on manta ray conservation through eco-minded thematic trips. Manta Expeditions offers both liveaboard and land-based dive and snorkel trips that focus specifically on getting our guests in close proximity to manta rays, whale sharks and other ‘wish list’ marine species, while imparting expert knowledge and skills. Part of the profit generated by Manta Expeditions is donated to the Manta Trust to fund mobulid research and conservation work globally.

The organisation of the trip was perfect from booking until departure from the boat. Perfect harmony between boat crew, Manta Trust Team and divers made this trip one which I won’t forget. Can’t wait for the next one to happen

Superb adventure
The knowledge gained from presentations, the camaraderie of the group, the crew of the the Conte Max not to mention manta sightings every day and a surprise swim with nurse sharks made this trip absolutely superb. Thanks for a wonderful adventure!

Discovering Mantas: A Journey of Learning and Wonder
An unforgettable experience that combined adventure and learning. Seeing manta rays had always been a dream of mine, and this trip made it come true!
The marine biologist on board, inspired us with her passion and professionalism, helping us understand the importance of protecting these magnificent creatures. I highly recommend the Manta Trust Expedition aboard the Duke of York (Maldives) to anyone wanting to explore the ocean and contribute to its conservation!
(PS: the boat is extremely comfortable, clean, and well-maintained in every aspect, as is the support dhoni for diving activities. The crew was always incredibly efficient, discreet, and kind. The food was outstanding: every single dish was consistently perfect!)
