I engaged with marquee-equity in October 2024. First they gave me good feedback for my slide deck. I thought I should assign the fund raising based on my initial positive experience.
It went down hill from there.
Promises were targeted emails to qualified investors, linkedin marketing, follow up's and more.
Reality: Email spamming, no linkedin, absolutely no support or personal engagement. They just wanted my money.
Details:
They used one of my email addresses to spam 3000 companies, very few were even in the M&A business. 50% of emails went into spam or were false to begin with. I had regular meetings wih them, always the same excuse ..... After May 2025 they changed my goto person 'Sreelekha Chintalapati' . Since then the number of emails reduced to 10 per month, not one email confirmed, not one lead, no response. In August they ghosted me. When I reached out today to ask to speak to a manager, this person simply canceled my meetings, no explanation, nothing. They are NOT trustworthy or professional. They take upfront payments, and then - nothing.

I think its a Scam... i have a loooong one to write but dont have the patience to write this review as its already taken too much of my energy ... i suggest dont get in to the marquee TRAP .. there are many professional organisations who can get the work done ...

It was a good experience overall. Aayushi was efficient and the interaction was to the point. Will surely recommend Marquee Equity and have done so already.
Just one area of improvement...as a basic hygiene and professionalism, it is important that on video calls, the video is kept on. It was never on.....

They have been consistent in their distribution other than a global investor database which is producing 2-3 enquiries per week.

Marquee Equity has been a pleasant surprise for me. Through all phases of development of the pitch deck , the one pager and the email, the results have been beyond my expectations. Working with Marquee Capital - specifically Chippy Vakkachan - on our dataroom development has been incredibly valuable. The clarity and simplicity of our financial model strengthened investor confidence and the inputs to our pitch deck tells our story in a more compelling and data driven way.

The experience so far has been phenomenal to say the least. Since day one when i sent my first inquiry on LinkedIn, through the Deck and models preparation to now doing the outreach program, Marquee-equity has been by my side, hand holding me through this new journey despite my busy schedule working for another organization.

Personally am in the Finance field and while i had some basic knowledge, Aftab made me understand the fundraising jargon and he broke down the whole exercise into small manageable milestones which made it look easy and enjoyable.

I look forward to a successful outreach campaign and for sure will never hesitate to recommend (i've actually referred 2 people already) to Marquee-Equity for their financing and fundraising exercise.

We’ve been generally pleased with the experience working with the Marquee Equity's team. Sanya is highly responsive and performs professionally throughout our interactions. The financial model by Madhavi Gupta is well-structured and demonstrates a solid understanding of investor expectations according to the international standards. Additionally, the overall atmosphere is positive and collaborative, which makes working with them smooth and efficient.

That said, there are some areas with room for improvement. Not having a dedicated account manager has led to a lack of clarity on the overall picture and trip, with our application often moving between different team members. A single point of contact could streamline communication and create more accountability.

Overall, I appreciate the team's efforts and professionalism, and I look forward to getting investors for our projects.

Very, very poor service!
After the money is deposited, an automated system is launched. Without any follow up, support or results.

i got scammed by marquee equity.  
they kept messaging me on linkedin non stop so i finally checked their profile looked super legit. nice branding, testimonials, “helped raise $4B+”, big claims. i thought ok maybe they have real investor connections.
so i booked a call. they pitched me hard. said they had access to thousands of investors 2200 angels, 900 family offices, 1200 vcs. promised outreach by email and linkedin, daily updates, high success rate (they literally told me 90%).  
they sounded confident and professional. said they’d support the process, help with docs, do calls with investors, all of it.
then they asked for $6500 upfront.  
i thought if they’re really that connected, it’s worth the money. worst decision ever.
after i paid, it all went downhill.  
they sent out random cold emails that i could’ve written better myself.  
they used my linkedin to send connection requests with super generic messages.  
no intros. no follow-ups. no investors interested.  
literally just spam. no real traction.  
and the “daily reports”? useless. just lists of names i never heard from again.
when i asked them where the actual investor calls were, they kept stalling.  
they don’t introduce you to anyone. they don’t negotiate anything. they just copy-paste messages and hope someone replies.
they sold me a glorified cold outreach service. that’s it.  
not a single useful result came out of it. complete waste of time and money.
so yeah. if you’re thinking about working with marquee equity – don’t.
it’s a scam. they make big promises to hook you in, take your money, and do the bare minimum.
i feel stupid for falling for it, but maybe this post helps someone else avoid the same mistake.

She understood our setup and preferences quickly, and managed to implement all our ideas, desires in a professional, fast and quality-driven manner.
