I asked Simon, at very short notice, to make a hat to match my outfit for a wedding in Scotland. Despite the tight schedule, Simon reviewed photos of my dress and provided sound advice on the shape, style and colour to best compliment the dress. I found my hero in Simon, what a lovely man, he listened and was very calm while I flapped about his garden room getting very excited! We looked at colours materials and pearls, to get just the most perfect style I was looking for! My hat was amazing and everything I dreamt of, Simon also made me a bespoke clutch bag, which was amazing and matched perfectly to my outfit. I felt a million dollars at my daughters wedding, so many compliments! Someone even asked to buy my hat & clutch bag! If your looking for the best, Simon is you man!

I did not outshine the bride, but everyone at the wedding commented on my wonderful hat. It was beautiful and fitted me so well I didn't have to worry that it was going to blow away in the wind. I presented Simon with some fabric from the outfit I was having made for my grandson's wedding together with the shoes and handbag I intended to use on that day. He immediately tuned in to what I was seeking in a hat and came up with a raft of ideas. The end result was stunning and proved to be the outstanding element of my whole outfit. When my daughter was planning her wedding, she thought of everything, including what her jeans and t-shirt mother was going to wear. She persuaded me, a non hat wearer, to go and see Simon with a view to having a hat to go with my outfit. No way I thought. However the minute I walked into Simon's studio I was entranced. Firstly his approach was gentle and he listened to me as I vaguely talked about hats not knowing what would suit my outfit and personality. Gradually he guided me towards a style that I actually really liked. I have had the pleasure of wearing several of Simon’s hats and he even made the special jewellery for my wedding day. The whole process of working with Simon is fantastic and he shows an incredible attention to detail, beginning with your outfit to make sure the final hat complements and enhances what you’re wearing. The colour matching is incredible and you can even have coordinating jewellery and handbags made to create something even more special! Simon is very knowledgeable and has a great eye for style so is able to advise on the best hats or fascinators to suit the occasion, the dress and the wearer, even if you don’t think you’re a hat person! I'm not known as being a 'hat person'. With my daughters wedding coming up in June this year I was being asked, as mother of the bride, will you be wearing a hat? It was an emphatic no, until.... I was watching one of the many lockdown tv series and fell in love with a quirky little item. I contacted Simon to ask if he could make something like that and match the colours in my dress. Turns out he can! The colours match absolutely perfectly and I couldn't be more thrilled. Simon was utterly brilliant throughout the whole process.
