I've been a customer for around a year

I've been a customer for around a year, and the experience has gone from pretty good to outright unacceptable.

Starting March 6th, my London VPS began experiencing nightly network outages — several hours of downtime, almost every night, for over a month. I raised this in a support ticket on the same day. The team was slow but responsive, repeatedly telling me they were investigating the root cause. It took until April 7th for them to declare the issue resolved. Conveniently 2 days before extension period. I wrote a monitoring script and it seemed to work for a couple of days. But then further outages occurred again on April 9th, blamed on a "separate upstream issue", and again on April 12th (no answer here yet).

Throughout all of this, no compensation was offered. When I explicitly asked about it on April 10th, the message was ignored.

To top it off, the renewal charge for the next period — at four times the previous rate — was applied to my card without any prior consent, right in the middle of the ongoing outages. And I might've been fine with it if the service was working, but it sadly isn't.

I requested a cancellation and refund. The cancellation was processed, but the refund was flatly denied with a copy-paste of their no-refunds ToS clause — despite the fact that the service was not functional for a big portion of the paid period, including on the very first day of the new billing cycle.

The infrastructure might work fine for some, but if something goes wrong, don't expect accountability or any meaningful resolution.

Backdoored Crypto Clipper SCAM

they have access to your clipboard, when I'm connected to the VPS and copy a crypto address on MY MAIN PC which is outside of the vps, it pastes theirs instead

but when I disconnect from their VPS, it no longer copies their address, instead it copies exactly what I originally copied

also, from time to time I noticed my VPS would get disconnected and it would say it was become someone else connected, yet I'm the only one with the password so how did that happen?

it does say on their site to change your password immediately, implying there's bad actors in their team, so after it happened the first few times, I DID change my password, I DID change it, however I still got disconnected 3 times after for the same reason, which was someone else connecting

do NOT trust these guys, I might even hit these guys with a lawsuit

they're scammers

Scammer detected

I purchased a UK-based Forex VPS (2 cores, 4 GB RAM) based on the claims made on the website, including 10 Gbps downlink and low latency. However, the actual service does not match what was advertised. My VPS appears to be limited to around 250 MB/s, which is a significant discrepancy.

When testing with my MT5 account, I experienced 80ms+ latency across multiple UK-based broker servers, which completely contradicts the “low latency” promise.

Furthermore, the website clearly advertises 24/7 support, yet it has now been over 15 hours without any response to my support ticket. This level of support is unacceptable, especially for a service marketed toward traders where uptime and responsiveness are critical.

Based on my experience, this service is misleading in its claims and unreliable in its support. I strongly advise others to avoid this provider unless these issues are transparently addressed and resolved.

MassiveGRID does not offer VDS and misrepresents their offerings

Multiple disk benchmarks have shown consistently poor performance that is not consistent with SSD storage. I opened a support ticket and was told the disk was functioning properly, however p90 read latency of 97ms and p90 write latency of 71ms on a 4K random workload are 20-50x worse than standard SATA SSD performance. Additionally, I observed CPU steal time when monitoring the server via top, which should be impossible on a truly dedicated VDS. This means the resources I paid for were not actually dedicated like MassiveGRID claims.

They are using Intel Xeon Gold 6130 from 2017 and pretending they have modern equipment. The IP that I was assigned was 185.184.68.82; a few months ago the subnet 185.184.68.x was used in a MicrosoftStream DNS hijacking and was flagged. Despite this MassiveGRID continues to provision IPs in the subnet knowing that it is highly likely that the IPs will be flagged when used. This company is used by scammers and MassiveGRID apparently does not care and will even allow your IP to be adversely affected as a result. Do not use this company under any condition. They are not trustworthy and will lie to you.

Edited to add: I did not raise the steal time and IP concerns with support because the team had already demonstrated it would dismiss legitimate technical evidence as methodology errors. When a support team tells a customer that 97ms p90 latency is healthy SSD performance, that customer reasonably loses confidence that any further issues will be addressed honestly.

On the storage performance: you raised a legitimate concern, and our team responded by migrating your server to a different storage node and running diagnostics. However, looking back at the interaction, we believe our team should have recognized sooner that your workload - which requires deterministic, low-latency I/O - is not ideally suited to our High Availability SSD storage tier. Our HA storage is Ceph-backed and architected for redundancy and uptime, which differs from local SSD. For workloads like yours, we have solutions with local NVMe-backed storage that would have been a much better fit, and our team should have guided you toward that option rather than focusing only on proving the existing setup was functioning within spec. That was a miss on our part.

On the IP reputation concern: in any shared or cloud hosting environment, IP addresses can occasionally be flagged due to the actions of previous tenants. This is an industry-wide reality. Our network operations team actively monitors IP reputation across our ranges and works to resolve any flagging promptly. If you had raised this with our support team, we would have investigated and, if needed, reassigned your IP.

Which brings us to a broader point. Of the concerns listed in your review - CPU steal time, processor type, and IP issue - none of these were raised through our support system. The only issue brought to our team was storage performance, which we actively investigated, including migrating your server and running diagnostics. Our support is available 24/7 and we would have welcomed the opportunity to look into each of these concerns. We encourage any customer experiencing issues to reach out to us directly so we can investigate and resolve them.

Unauthorized price increase and consumer law violations

MassiveGRID violates German and European consumer law by changing prices for services, then illegally deducting the new prices without consumer consent. I had a server rental contract that was quadrupled in price with no consent and simply via an email, then the new quadrupled price was charged through PayPal. This is illegal under both German and European law and I will never be doing server rental business with this company again.

Your service was originally set up under a promotional offer at a discounted rate. When that promotional period concluded, billing was adjusted to our current standard pricing - the same rates listed publicly on our website and applied to all customers.

We did send advance notice 15 days before the change, along with the option to cancel. We understand from your reply that your account email had not been updated, so you may not have received that notice. We're sorry for the frustration this caused - though we do ask that customers keep their contact information current so that important communications like this one are received in time.

With no cancellation received, your server remained live and consuming resources 24/7. Billing for the continued use of that service at the updated rate was the only reasonable course of action - the only alternative would have been to pause charges and thus shut down your server, which we believe would have been a far worse outcome.

We genuinely wish this situation had gone differently. If you'd like to reach out to our team, we're happy to see if there's anything we can do. The door is always open.

Network instability for weeks and support closing tickets without resolution


I have been experiencing serious network connectivity issues with MassiveGRID VPS infrastructure for weeks now

Multiple VPS instances suffer from intermittent TCP connectivity failures and packet loss, which makes the servers barely usable. Monitoring shows roughly at least 10% failed TCP connection attempts, causing random connection failures and unstable service.

The failures affect all my VPS instances simultaneously, which strongly suggests a network-side issues, probably oversold

What is particularly disappointing is the handling of support requests. Instead of resolving the issue, tickets are repeatedly closed without a clear explanation or resolution. Or "we are looking into this" response forever

At this point the service reliability and support handling have been very disappointing.

A VPS operates within the CPU, RAM, and storage limits of the plan selected, and no amount of troubleshooting can make a server perform beyond its allocated resources.

I have been their customer for a good time. But I have not found anything bad regarding their services.
Fast support response.
Their prices are affordable.
They also upgrade or downgrade at anytime you want.
You can order for specific number of ram and cores you need which is better than other sites which sell a whole package when you are not even going to consume it at all with high prices.

My opinion of them has changed from 4 to 1. So I feel scammed.

My opinion of them has changed drastically from 4 stars to 1. With a shared 8 vcore VPS, it performs the same as a client with only 1~2 vcore. It's absurd, even for a High Availability plan. They talk about scalability if you rent more cores, but it's COMPLETELY FALSE. You're wasting your money. And it's becoming a habit for them to offer you an upgrade to a much more expensive plan because they know it's a terrible service and a scam.
In a 3-year plan, they offer a false performance for the first few months so you can't get a refund or file a claim with PayPal. Then all hell breaks loose, and the service can't even run "Minesweeper".

The problem isn't that the server is bad; it's that they manually limit its speed per client. This way, your server will never achieve the supposed scalability performance because it will be limited by them manually.

Furthermore, uploads from your PC to your server are extremely slow, with absurd upload rates of 1~2 MB/s.

Never try to reinstall the operating system. You'll grow old before you finish the installation. I/O accesses are so slow that copying a file smaller than 2GB takes almost 1 minute! to complete.

I can only thank the help of some of the assistants, but the result is still the same: you won't get what you paid for. They just claim it's a cheap service, but the reality is that it's trash and a hook to get you to rent other things. It's a trap.

Renting this has been a curse.

I have purchased a vps from MassiveGRID ,they are professional cheaters ,they told me I have 14 days trial with 100% money back , I used the vps(paid for yearly ) for 6 days and the service quality was horrible ,I cancelled the service and asked them to refund ,they told me you are not eligible for refund as you have used the vps for more than one month ,I told them I bought it six day back only but they stopped responding and deleted my vps as well.Beaware of such crooks in the industry ,I learned my lesson the hard way.I have shared screenshots with massivegrid in the refund ticket also sent those screenshots to trustpilot,my work email is ceo @ ecs-net.net

If you are a newbie in VPS like me. Don't use MassiveGRID. Yes, prices are very low but its not worth.
You can order lot of cpu, 16 go ram etc..
The VPS will be still very slow. (I ordered 3 VPS, it was all the same)

Only navigating on internet its a nightmare, then i add a SEO software which is using 3go ram maximum and 50% CPU.
The VPS was worst.

Don't use it. Cheap prices = Bad quality.
